We are seeking a Chief of Staff to act as a force multiplier for our leadership team, elevating our operations to the next level and maximizing our team’s efficiency. You will sit at the intersection of operations, strategy, talent, and finance, identifying organizational bottlenecks, building lightweight processes, and executing across all non-technical fronts to support our engineering team. This is a vital role for the company, and you should be equally comfortable structuring an investor data room, negotiating a vendor contract, optimizing our hiring pipeline, or managing our public communications. RESPONSIBILITIES * Operations & Systems Engine: Own and optimize our internal ops stack and communication flow. Design and run meetings, such as leadership syncs or offsites, to ensure company-wide alignment and track progress against strategic goals/OKRs. * Finance, Legal & Vendor Operations: Act as the primary liaison for external contractors, including accounting, legal counsel, and infra partners. Oversee day-to-day financial operations (accounts payable/receivable, expense policies, month-end coordination) and handle legal logistics like NDAs and vendor agreements. * Talent, HR & Culture: Manage hiring and on-boarding cycles. Own the application tracking, conduct initial screening calls, coordinate interview loops, and ensure a world-class onboarding experience for new hires. Act as a culture carrier and organize team events. * Fundraise, Board and Investor Support: Partner with the founders on fundraising efforts. Support investor relations, build out the data room, assist with pitch deck narratives, and draft investor updates. * GTM, Partnerships & Communications: Facilitate SpAItial’s external voice. Help on our social media presence, draft newsletters, and assist with early Go-To-Market motions by conducting market research and setting up initial sales pipelines. KEY QUALIFICATIONS * 3+ years of high-impact experience in a fast-paced startup environment, such as a high-growth ventures (ideally deep-tech focused), management consulting, venture capital, investment banking, or similar. * Startup DNA and Systems Thinking: Proven track record of building structured environments, realizing processes, and building scalable, lightweight systems from scratch. * Financial & Legal Literacy: You are comfortable reading a P&L, navigating a spreadsheet model, and reviewing contracts without getting lost in the legalese. * Exceptional Communication: You write incredibly clear, concise memos, emails, and public posts (e.g., on social). You can distill complex information into actionable insights for the team and external stakeholders. * Technical Empathy: While you don't need to write code, you must be able to quickly grasp complex deep tech concepts (AI, computer vision, foundation/world models) to effectively communicate with our engineers, investors, and commercial partners. * Low Ego, High Output: You are willing to do whatever it takes to move the company forward, from high-level strategic planning to mundane administrative tasks. NICE TO HAVE * Prior experience as a Founder, Chief of Staff, or early operations hire at a deep tech or AI-focused startup. * Familiarity with modern startup operational tooling (e.g., Notion, Ashby, Google Workspace and of course Claude agents). 🚀 JOIN SE3 LABS AS FOUNDING DRONE & AVIONICS TECHNICIAN Help us get our autonomous systems airborne. You’ll own electrical integration from prototype to flight. Early team, deep tech, high impact. ABOUT SE3 SE3 Labs is building Spatial AI by combining 3D computer vision with large language models (LLMs). We believe the ability to reason about and act within physical space is foundational to unlocking the next generation of automation, from construction to smart infrastructure, and ultimately, defense. Now, we’re building the physical platform to bring Spatial AI to life. That means high-performance, real-world robotic systems (starting with UAVs) and we’re looking for a hands-on operator who’s ready to bring these machines into the real world. ABOUT THE ROLE As our Founding Drone & Avionics Technician, you’ll play a key role in getting our fleet of autonomous drones ready for flight. Working closely with our engineering team, you’ll establish our professional-grade avionics shop, build harnesses and integration workflows, and ensure every system is measured, tested, and flight-proven. You won’t just follow instructions, you’ll improve the way we work on your initiative and directly with our engineering team. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON * Wire & Build: Assemble and test prototype avionics units, including harnesses and electrical subsystems for UAVs * Integrate & Checkout: Install, measure, and verify electronics inside flight vehicles, ensuring robust, repeatable, and high-quality integration * Own the Shop: Set up, organize, and maintain our avionics workspace by selecting quality tools and building out a scalable integration process * Improve & Suggest: Spot design flaws, propose improvements, and help us move faster and build better * Test & Feedback: Support qualification and development testing, from vibration to thermal tests, and loop feedback back to engineering YOUR PROFILE * You’ve completed a technical apprenticeship or training in a relevant field, e.g., Fluggeräteelektroniker, Elektroniker, or you’re EASA-certified * You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience assembling wiring harnesses and electronics, ideally in aerospace or high-reliability systems * You’re proficient in soldering wires, connectors, and PCBs, and you know your way around aerospace crimping and wire tools * You’re comfortable using electronic diagnostic tools and have a solid grasp of troubleshooting workflows * You care about precision, build quality, and structure. You know that great systems start with clean, reliable integration * You bring a proactive, organized approach and a deep sense of ownership.
