As a Lead Solution Engineer (all genders) for clinical software solutions, you take on a strategic and leadership role at the

YOUR MISSION We are seeking a (Senior) Flight Control System Engineer (all genders) to lead the design and development of the flight control systems for our battery-electric aircraft. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and integrating the aircraft’s primary and secondary flight control systems, including both mechanical and electrically actuated elements, working in close collaboration with the flight physics, structures, and systems teams. You will drive the flight control system throughout its complete development lifecycle, from system-level requirements definition through architecture development, preliminary and detailed design, supplier coordination, integration, verification and validation activities, and ultimately system and aircraft certification. Working cross-functionally with structures, avionics, flight physics, systems, and overall aircraft design, you will ensure robust integration of the flight control system within the aircraft. As a senior engineer, you will play a central role in technical decision-making, system trade-offs, and the maturation of the overall aircraft configuration. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY * Define, derive, and manage system-level requirements for the flight control system, ensuring alignment with aircraft-level requirements, program objectives, and applicable certification regulations (CS-23 and related operational requirements). * Perform system-level functional analysis, including functional decomposition, architecture definition, interface identification, and traceability management. * Lead the detailed definition, development, and integration of the flight control system, covering installation design, kinematics, load paths, performance, reliability, maintainability, and safety considerations. * Own the technical coordination and oversight of suppliers and development partners, including requirement allocation, design reviews, verification activities, and compliance demonstration. * Support and contribute to system safety activities related to flight controls, including Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA/SFHA), Preliminary System Safety Assessments (PSSA), and Zonal Safety Analysis,in accordance with applicable airworthiness and safety standards. * Actively contribute to the design implementation and configuration control of the flight control system within the aircraft Digital Mock-Up (DMU), ensuring proper integration with structures and other aircraft systems. * Support the flight controls certification process, including preparation and review of certification plans, compliance checklists, qualification documentation and execution, and participation in ground and flight test campaigns. YOUR PROFILE * Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering(or equivalent). * Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in the development of mechanically actuated aircraft flight control systems, preferably within Part 23aircraftprogramsoperatingunder a DOA environment or international equivalent. * Strong background in systems engineering applied to flight controls, including requirement capture and management, functional decomposition, interface definition, and traceability. * Demonstrated expertise in the design, integration, assembly, and testing of mechanical primary flight control systems, including kinematics, load transmission, tolerance management, friction and free-play control, and troubleshooting during ground and flight test campaigns. * Proven experience across the full product development lifecycle, from conceptual architecture and preliminary design through detailed design, verification, validation, and certification (Part 23 or Part 25). * Solid understanding of airworthiness and certification processes, including compliance demonstration and interaction with airworthiness authorities. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are an asset. * Proficiency in PLM and CAD systems; Dassault’s 3DX platform is a plus. * Self-driven, solution-oriented professional with strong ownership mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic development environment. * Strong personal motivation for aviation and the advancement of electric aircraft technologies. YOUR MISSION As a Senior EMC, HIRF & Lightning Protection Engineer (all genders) you will help us design and develop the aircraft and its installed systems. As an all-electric aircraft, this may entail new and novel approaches to meeting the EMC, HIRF and Lightning protection goals, in some cases requiring an innovative approach to systems design. This will be a broad role covering design support, analysis, test and compliance finding. In this role, you will provide specialist support to all other engineering groups including systems and structures. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY * Proactively lead and execute technical tasks related to EMC, HIRF & Lightning protection for the Microliner development and certification, from capturing technical requirements to demonstrating compliance. * Contribute significantly to the definition, architecture, sizing, specification, and development of the overall electrical system with respect to meeting the EMC, HIRF and Lightning protection goals. * Support high and low voltage electrics and avionics safety analysis and conduct system engineering tasks. * Support the installation and integration of entire electrical/electronic systems on an aircraft level. * Develop mitigation strategies for system noise and coupling issues, including shielding, grounding, and filtering solutions. * Lead efforts to analyse and design system protection against high-intensity radiated fields (HIRF). * Coordinate HIRF immunity tests with external labs and certification bodies. * Develop strategies for direct and indirect lightning protection for airframe, electrical wiring, and electronic equipment. * Plan, execute, and document EMC, HIRF, and lightning tests in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. * Diagnose and resolve electromagnetic interference issues observed during development or testing. YOUR PROFILE * Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent (Electrical/Electronics). * Minimum 8 years experience with HIRF, EMC and lightning protection (indirect effects). * Experience with the full development lifecycle from conceptual design through to certification (EASA/FAA Part 23 or 25). * Experience working in an EASA Part 21J Design Organization, or international equivalent. * Knowledge of systems & safety engineering principles for safety critical systems (SAE ARP 4754/4761). * Working experience with relevant industry standards, such as DO-160G, MIL-STD-461, ARP5414/ARP5415, and other applicable standards. * Working knowledge with direct effects of lightning protection and certification is a plus. * Experience with electric propulsion systems or high-voltage aerospace architectures is a plus. * Proficiency coordinating activities of engineers internally and in partner supplier companies. * Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English, other language would be a plus. * Positive thinking, “Can do” attitude and working nature characterized by self-initiative, solution orientation, eagerness to learn, grow and apply new skills. * Passioned about aviation and electrification of aviation industry. YOUR MISSION We are seeking a highly skilled Senior High-Voltage Airborne Electronics Engineer (all genders) to design, develop, and validate high-performance power control and conversion hardware. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in power electronics design, component selection, simulation, PCB design, testing, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and cost-effective power solutions. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY * Design and develop power electronics hardware including power distribution & protection units, solid-state power controllers and DC-DC converters. * Capture requirements and manage them systematically in a traceable way. * Create schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs for power electronic systems. * Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and design optimization (thermal, EMI/EMC, efficiency, reliability). * Select and qualify power components such as Power MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC/GaN devices, magnetics, and passive components. * Lead prototype build, bring-up, debugging, and validation testing. * Conduct failure analysis and implement design improvements. * Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards (UL, IEC, ISO, etc.). * Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, procurement and quality teams. * Support production ramp-up, manufacturing test development, and field issue resolution. * Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and design reviews. YOUR PROFILE * Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field. * More than 5 years of professional experience. * Strong background in power electronics theory and practical hardware design. * Experience with electrical protection, power semiconductors, converter topologies and control methods. * Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer (preferred), OrCAD, or KiCad. * Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, power analysers, electronic loads). * Solid understanding of electronics packaging, thermal management, EMI/EMC, and safety design. * Ability to debug complex hardware issues independently. * Experience with wide bandgap semiconductors (SiC,GaN). * Familiarity with simulation tools (LTspice, PLECS, PSIM, MATLAB/Simulink). * Knowledge of high-voltage and high-power systems. * Experience with testing hardware under high-voltage (>800V). * Experience with DO-254 process. * Experience with aerospace & defence standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704). * A valid (car) driving licence is preferred for occasional travel between our locations.
