YOUR MISSION Join our Mittelstand Team as an Intern! Gain valuable experience in Private Equity and support our Mittelstand team for a 3-month period starting January 1 in various investment projects. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Assess investment opportunities (e.g. business model review, market analysis) * Conduct financial analysis and company valuation (e.g. LBO modelling, CCA & CTA) * Support during the investment proposal and due diligence process * Source potential target companies through industry/sector analysis * Assist with portfolio company development YOUR PROFILE * Excellent academic performance; min. 4th Semester Bachelor  * At least 2 prior internships in top-tier PE, VC, M&A, Strategy Consulting, or Investment Banking firms * Entrepreneurial mindset paired with critical thinking, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently * Strong communication skills in German & English (C1) WHY US? The strategy focuses on majority investments in profitable, growing Mittelstand companies - partnering with strong entrepreneur-led and family businesses, seeking to be the best partner for their next phase of growth. The strategy targets equity investments of €20-200m in medium-sized “Mittelstand” companies with revenues typically between €25-500m. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Support sourcing through target identification and initial analysis * Assist in financial modeling and valuation (LBO, CCA, CTA) * Conduct market and company research to generate actionable insights * Contribute to investment proposals and due diligence YOUR PROFILE * Outstanding academics; minimum 4th semester Bachelor, ideally with international experience * At least 2 internships in top-tier PE, VC, M&A, Strategy Consulting, or Investment Banking * Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently * Excellent communication in English (C1/C2); additional language a plus * German Work Permit Required WHY US? Armira Opportunities is a newly launched strategy that scales Armira’s proven “Mittelstand” (Mid Cap) approach to larger, more complex investment situations (€50m+ EBITDA). We focus on transformational investments in leading European family- and founder-owned businesses at pivotal moments in their evolution. The strategy targets investments in large European healthcare and tech companies and has completed several transactions to date. The highly motivated team combines deep sector expertise with strong investment experience and is led by Stefan Oschmann (former CEO of Merck) and Leo Walde (Managing Partner at Armira, former Blackstone).
