ABOUT US STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionising the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop, and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost-effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments. We are focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems, not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe today. YOUR MISSION We are looking for a designer who understands that typography, layout, motion, and hierarchy are structural tools. Someone who can build, maintain, and scale a precise brand design system and is equally comfortable making things. Brand is a system. Not decoration. We build advanced autonomous defence systems. It is a world of uncompromising hardware, AI-driven software, and a strictly operator-focused approach. Our work bridges the physical and the digital, requiring a brand system that feels as precise on a machined piece of equipment as it does in a digital interface. If your design philosophy is "less, but better"—if you are fascinated by creative tech, appreciate the precise livery on industrial gear and tools, and think about brand far beyond flat 2D screen let’s have a conversation. Portfolio must demonstrate typographic discipline, systematic brand work, and visual thinking across different scales. RESPONSIBILITIES * Design within and evolve a brand system * Create clear typographic hierarchies and disciplined layouts * Translate complex ideas into structured visual communication * Build templates, assets, and reusable components * Produce motion, visualizations, and presentations that explain technology * Design across scales — from brand assets to installation visuals You: * Think in grids, ratios, and systems * Are typography-obsessed * Care about precision, spacing, alignment * Are a hands-on maker * Enjoy technology, engineering, and complex products * Use motion and visualization to explain how things work * Prefer clarity over decoration This is probably not for you if: * You want to manage, not make: This is a hands-on role. If your goal is to delegate to an agency, sit in review meetings, and art-direct from afar, you will be frustrated here. * You rely on pre-packaged templates: We build systems from the ground up. If your workflow relies heavily on Canva, Envato, or out-of-the-box asset libraries, this isn't the right environment. * You view design purely as marketing: We love growth, but you are not here to only churn out quick performance-marketing banners. You are here to build structural, lasting brand foundations. * You are purely an illustrator/decorator: If you prefer adding flair and embellishment rather than stripping things down to their most functional, grid-based forms, our "less is more" philosophy will clash with your style. QUALIFICATIONS * Figma, Adobe, AI * After Effects, Blender, Cinema4D, Spline. * Grids, ratios, and an obsessive eye for type Nice to have: * Experience with tools like: Unreal, Blender, Houdini, etc.

YOUR MISSION We are looking for a Senior 3D Artist & Technical Visualiser to join our in-house team and own the 3D pipeline from concept to final render. Your mission is to visualize the "invisible engineering" of our gear across high-end product launch animations, technical breakdowns, and large-scale trade show visuals. We don’t want glossy, weightless corporate renders. Our products need to look like they exist in the real world - defined by gravity, grit, and elemental realism. You must understand how things are physically built to effectively translate raw CAD files into authentic, cinematic hero assets that feel tangible and grounded. RESPONSIBILITIES * Own the 3D Pipeline from initial concepting and CAD ingest to final lighting, texturing, and rendering. * Translate Engineering Data into high-fidelity assets, ensuring that hardware looks mechanically accurate and "real-world" ready. * Visualize Complex Systems by creating technical breakdowns that explain internal components and "invisible" performance features. * Develop Elemental Realism through procedural simulations of fabric, water, snow, and environmental interactions. * Execute Cinematic Layouts by applying a deep understanding of physically accurate virtual lenses, depth of field, and purposeful pacing. * Collaborate on Brand Visuals to produce large-scale assets for trade show LED walls and global product campaigns. * Iterate with Design & Engineering to ensure every bolt, weld, and fabric grain reflects the authentic manufacturing process. QUALIFICATIONS * Bring 5+ years of experience creating high-end 3D motion content within the outdoor, defence, or technical lifestyle spaces. * Demonstrate a deep understanding of physical manufacturing - knowing how hardware is milled and how garments are patterned is essential. An Industrial Design (ID) background is a strong bonus. * Maintain mastery of state-of-the-art 3D systems and render engines. We are software-agnostic; whether you use traditional suites, Houdini for simulations, or real-time engines, we value efficiency and elite results. * Exhibit an expert-level grasp of look development, specifically how light reacts to ripstop nylon, carbon fiber, technical laminates, and anodized aluminum. * Move beyond "button-pushing" to act as a virtual cinematographer, understanding how lighting and lens choice drive the narrative. * CAD Proficiency - comfortable working with raw engineering files and optimizing them for high-end creative workflows without losing technical integrity. HOW TO APPLY If this sounds like the kind of work you want to be doing, we’d love to see your reel. We are looking for work that feels heavy, tactile, and technically grounded. If you have any process breakdowns or "behind the scenes" looks at your lighting and material setups, please include them—we value seeing the "how" behind the final render.
