Finance
YOUR MISSION We’re looking for a Financial Controller (all genders) who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to help mature and scale our financial controlling setup. You will play a central role in the implementation of our new ERP system across all finance processes - defining standards, ensuring data quality, and driving adoption across the organization. In addition, you will continuously improve our budgeting, forecasting, and controlling processes and provide the business with clear, actionable insights. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY * Establish scalable controlling processes (templates, governance, definitions, calendar, responsibilities) suitable for a fast-growing organization. * Lead the finance workstream for ERP system implementation: process design, testing (UAT), cutover preparation, training, and post go-live stabilization. * Ensure high data quality and consistency across reporting and ERP, including alignment of chart of accounts, cost objects, and reporting dimensions. * Work hand-in-hand with accounting to ensure a reliable monthly close foundation (cut-offs, accrual logic, reconciliation drivers) so that controlling analysis is timely and trustworthy. * Support the budgeting and forecasting cycle (annual budget, rolling forecasts, scenario planning) and continuously improve planning methodology and timelines. * Build and maintain controlling dashboards, reports, and KPIs that enable fast, data-driven decisions (including cost centre and project perspectives). YOUR PROFILE * Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field. * Several years of experience in controlling (budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting), ideally in a scaling or project-driven environment. * Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA, ideally including FI/CO processes; implementation or rollout experience is a strong plus. * Strong analytical skills, structured problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail. * Confidence working with Excel and ERP-based reporting, and the ability to translate complexity into clear management insights. * Strong communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic mindset, able to work across functions and drive topics to completion. * Fluent in German (must-have); English proficiency for day-to-day collaboration is highly beneficial. We recognize that women and other under-represented groups are often overlooked in our industry. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every listed qualification, we still encourage you to apply. Talent and potential can’t always be captured in a checklist. WHY US? * Be part of an ambitious team determined to shape the future of aviation. * We are an in-office company, but we value flexibility and trust employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work or adjusting hours to accommodate personal commitments. * Subsidized EGYM Wellpass membership: your (mental) health is important for us. * Enjoy a subsidized lunch with a 5€ company contribution per meal on office days. * Become a part of our success with virtual stock options. * Choose the option that suits your needs: either a free charging station for your electric car or a public transport job ticket as part of the Deutschlandticket. * Lease a high-quality bicycle or e-bike through our JobRad program and benefit from tax advantages. Whether for your daily commute or personal use, enjoy more mobility and sustainability. * Pension scheme to support your long-term financial security. * Work in one of our offices in Munich or Delft. Enjoy the modern Balan Campus in Munich or work close to the innovative Aerospace TU Delft. * Boost your professional as well as personal growth executing your own ideas and independent projects. * Join our internal social events and retreats (e.g. cooking, game nights, sports). COMPENSATION PRINCIPLES Our Compensation Philosophy: Compensation is determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications and education, performance, level of responsibility, required skills and competencies, and the scarcity or uniqueness of expertise in the relevant field. VÆRIDION applies these criteria consistently to ensure fair and equitable compensation for employees performing the same work or work of equal value. Salary Range: 60.000 EUR - 80.000 EUR
