What we are looking for – Assistant Waiter
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – ASSISTANT WAITER As an Assistant Waiter, you play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences for our members and guests. Working alongside the service team, you'll ensure every interaction reflects Soho House's commitment to genuine hospitality, attention to detail and exceptional service. GUEST EXPERIENCE * Deliver warm, engaging and personalised service, ensuring every member and guest feels welcomed and valued. * Support the team in achieving guest satisfaction and departmental service goals while contributing to food and beverage revenue targets. * Follow Soho House service standards and sequence of service across breakfast, lunch, dinner, private events and special occasions. * Engage with guests throughout their dining experience, anticipating their needs and responding promptly to feedback or requests. * Resolve minor service concerns confidently and escalate any operational issues to the Club Manager or Supervisor where appropriate. SERVICE OPERATIONS * Assist in preparing, setting and maintaining restaurant sections to the highest standards before, during and after service. * Escort members and guests, reset tables efficiently and provide seamless support to ensure smooth restaurant operations. * Complete daily opening, closing and side duties as allocated by the Head of Department or Supervisor. * Communicate special requests, guest preferences and operational updates promptly to the management team. * Maintain exceptional knowledge of menus, daily specials and service procedures. STANDARDS & COMPLIANCE * Consistently uphold Soho House brand standards, ensuring attention to detail in every aspect of service. * Maintain impeccable personal grooming and professional appearance in line with company guidelines. * Follow all food safety, hygiene, health and safety policies and operational procedures. * Attend all scheduled training sessions and actively participate in learning and development opportunities. * Comply with all company policies, procedures and code of conduct while promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.

A successful Events Operations Assistant for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success. * Passion for Food, drink and hospitality * Strong attention to details * Excellent customer service * Fluent in English * Organised and reliable * Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Physical Requirements: * Must be over the age of 18 * Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand * Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours The salary range for this role if filled within the UK is listed below. The range for the position in different geographies may vary based on market differences. Pay Range £15—£15 GBP
We are looking for a “Waiter with the qualifications below: Qualifications: * Ability to work well under the pressure of coordinating many requests at any given time * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays if necessary * Knowledge of POS device * Service knowledge * Spoken and written fluency in English Job Description: * Inform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any * Suggest food and beverages to the guests and also try to up-sell * Take food and beverage orders from the guests on the order taking pads * Making sure that the order is correct by repeating them to the guests * Entering the food and beverage in our Micros System * Mise-en-Place / adhering to the duties check-lists * Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor/manager * Filling in for absent staff as needed * Communicate to the guests and provide assistance with their queries * Coordinate with different departments (i.e. bar/kitchen etc.) to ensure smooth operation and guests satisfaction * Promptly respond to the guests with any additional requests * Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently * Is aware of allergy procedure * Is familiar with all tasting-notes from all menu items (food and beverage) * Help other areas of the restaurant when needed * Is familiar with the waiter-cashing out procedure * Making sure that a proper handover has been done before leaving the shift
