About F2 F2 is redefining how the financial sector operates by bridging the gap between legacy workflows in institutional finance and the future of AI-driven efficiency. While large financial firms comprise the backbone of the economy, their front and middle-office processes are still manual, spreadsheet-heavy, and fragmented. F2 is the leading vertical AI platform purpose-built for private markets and commercial banking. We transform dense, unstructured deal materials into auditable, decision-ready insights in minutes. This is not generic AI tooling. It is core infrastructure embedded directly into underwriting, credit, and portfolio workflows. We are the only fully vertical platform in this space with meaningful, proven revenue and real product–market fit. Role Overview We are hiring an Enterprise Account Executive focused on commercial banking, investment banking, and private credit to own the full-cycle sales motion for F2’s AI platform within these institutions. You will run complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles end to end, from first executive conversation through signed contract and expansion, while acting as a trusted advisor to senior banking leaders navigating AI adoption in regulated environments. You will work closely with Product, Deployment, and Leadership to shape our enterprise go-to-market motion, bringing real-world institutional insight back into how we build, position, and scale F2 across private markets and commercial banking. This role is ideal for a high-performing, domain-fluent operator with deep in-seat banking experience who thrives in ambiguity, understands how regulated institutions buy, and wants to help define how a leading vertical AI company wins true enterprise deals. What You'll Do * Own the full-cycle sales process for F2's AI platform with commercial and investment banking clients—from first meeting through signed contract and initial expansion. * Prospect and engage Managing Directors, Group Heads, senior credit officers, and product leaders across corporate, commercial, and investment banking. * Collaborate with Solutions Engineers and Product to design workflows and demos that showcase F2's differentiated value in credit underwriting, monitoring, and deal workflows. * Lead pilots and proof-of-concepts, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across front office, credit risk, operations, and technology. * Navigate complex legal, risk, compliance, and procurement processes typical of regulated financial institutions. * Build deep, multi-threaded relationships within key banking accounts, becoming a trusted advisor and long-term partner. * Capture customer feedback and market signals to inform F2's go-to-market strategy, pricing, and commercial banking product roadmap. * Contribute to playbooks and repeatable sales motions for commercial and investment banking as a core vertical. You Might Be a Great Fit if You * Have deep, in-seat experience in investment banking, commercial banking, or private credit. * Bring a strong grasp of credit, underwriting, or capital markets workflows, or a clear aptitude to learn complex banking use cases quickly. * Have experience engaging senior banking leadership in high-stakes decision environments. * You are comfortable running long, strategic, multi-stakeholder enterprise cycles. * You thrive in high-ownership environments where domain credibility matters. * You want to operate at the intersection of finance and AI without leaving the institutional ecosystem behind. * You communicate with precision, credibility, and executive presence. * Bonus: Experience interfacing with risk, compliance, or technology teams within large financial institutions. Why Join F2 * Direct impact on a critical growth vertical as commercial banks, investment banks, and private credit institutions adopt AI to modernize underwriting and portfolio workflows. * Opportunity to sell a leading vertical AI platform with real product–market fit and a proven technology moat, embedded directly in high-stakes financial decision making. * Work with a small, high-caliber team at a true inflection point for both F2 and AI in institutional finance, with meaningful traction and blue-chip customers already on the platform. * Engage in true enterprise sales cycles with seven-figure contract values and senior banking leadership at institutions managing hundreds of billions to trillions in assets. * Operate in a high-trust, high-standards culture where domain expertise is valued and you have real influence on product direction and enterprise go-to-market strategy. * Competitive compensation, meaningful upside, and the opportunity to help redefine how institutional finance operates in the age of AI. Compensation & Benefits * Base salary: $130,000–$160,000 * Commission: Uncapped * On-Target Earnings (OTE): $250k-$450k * Medical, dental, vision coverage * Unlimited PTO * Hybrid flexibility in NY Office (FiDi) * Opportunity to revolutionize how banks and lenders operate with cutting-edge AI technology alongside a top-decile team
ABOUT F2 F2 is the AI platform for private markets investors — purpose-built to transform how institutional teams underwrite, diligence, and deploy capital. Our AI converts messy, unstructured deal materials into investment-grade insights in minutes, helping private credit funds, commercial banks, and private equity firms make faster, more confident decisions. Backed by leading investors, including NFX and Y Combinator, we’re scaling a world-class product and engineering team to build the future of vertical AI for finance. We are scaling quickly across our offices in New York, San Francisco, and London. ROLE OVERVIEW We're hiring a Head of Talent to build and own the full recruiting function at F2 — from strategy to close. We're doubling our headcount over the next two quarters, and this role is critical to making that happen. You'll partner directly with Finance and senior leadership to build hiring plans, set comp bands, and bring the caliber of people who will define what F2 becomes. As our first dedicated talent leader, you'll build the function from the ground up — with real ownership and real impact. This is the right role for someone who has built hiring infrastructure from scratch in a high-growth startup environment, knows how to recruit without relying on big-company brand leverage, and can operate as both a strategic talent partner and a hands-on full-cycle recruiter. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Own full-cycle recruiting across functions, with an emphasis on engineering, product, AI, deployment, and GTM roles. * Build the recruiting engine from the ground up: sourcing strategy, pipeline architecture, interview process, scorecards, candidate experience, offer process, and close strategy. * Partner with leadership and Finance on headcount planning, role prioritization, comp bands, recruiting budget, and agency ROI. * Bring a sales mindset to candidate engagement, including outbound messaging, narrative-building, objection handling, and close strategy. * Build strong pipelines in competitive talent markets, especially NYC and SF engineering, AI, product, and GTM ecosystems. * Create lightweight but rigorous recruiting systems, including ATS hygiene, reporting, funnel metrics, source quality, and hiring manager accountability. * Act as a talent brand ambassador for F2, helping candidates understand the size of the opportunity, the quality of the team, and the urgency of the market. * Help the company scale thoughtfully across New York, San Francisco, and London while keeping talent density high. YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT IF * You have 6+ years of recruiting experience, including meaningful time in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment. * You have built a hiring function or recruiting engine from scratch, not just operated inside an established recruiting machine. * You have hired across technical and go-to-market roles, ideally including software engineering, product, AI, sales, and customer-facing roles. * You understand what it takes to recruit in low-brand-leverage environments where candidate selling, precision, persistence, and market mapping matter. * You are fluent in the NYC and SF talent markets and understand how competitive engineering and AI recruiting have become. * You are highly commercial: you can build a candidate narrative, sell the company, navigate objections, and close top talent. * You are analytical and comfortable with headcount plans, recruiting funnels, comp calibration, and basic recruiting finance. * You move quickly, operate with precision, and thrive in ambiguity. * You are energized by AI, private markets, and the chance to help build a category-defining company. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience scaling a startup from pre-seed, seed, or Series A through a major growth phase. * Experience hiring for AI, fintech, B2B SaaS, infrastructure, or vertical software companies. * Strong track record recruiting in both New York and San Francisco talent markets. * Experience partnering with founders, Finance, and senior leadership on headcount planning. * Familiarity with Ashby or similar modern ATS platforms, plus comfort building recruiting dashboards and pipeline reporting. WHY F2? * Join a fast-growing AI company building the execution layer for private markets and finance. * Own the talent function at a critical stage of company growth. * Work directly with founders and senior leaders on the hires that will shape the company. * Join a high-talent-density, in-person culture across New York, San Francisco, and London. * Competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and benefits. * Build something from scratch in a market where product momentum, customer urgency, and category timing are aligned. Location: New York, New York - Fully Onsite in our beautiful office in FiDi Base Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 + equity + benefits * For exceptionally senior candidates, final compensation may vary based on scope and experience.
The Role: We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to be the bridge between F2's platform and the real-world complexity of our most important enterprise clients. You'll embed with strategic Private Credit customers, get deep on their data, workflows, and infrastructure, and build custom solutions that makes F2 indispensable to how they operate. This is a hands-on engineering role: you write production code, you ship it and you see your work create value in days, not quarters. You'll spend the majority of your time in the field with customers, then bring what you learn back to our core engineering and product teams to make the platform better for everyone. It's the ideal role for an engineer who wants to combine deep technical work with direct customer impact, and who's excited to learn a modern AI stack end-to-end. What you'll do: * Embed with strategic accounts. Sit with our top enterprise clients to deeply understand their domain, data sources, security requirements, and analyst workflows and then translate those into concrete technical solutions. * Build custom integrations and solutions. Write production code on top of F2's platform: connectors to customer data rooms and document management systems, ingestion pipelines, workflow automations, and domain-specific features tailored to each client's needs. * Own the technical relationship. Act as the trusted technical partner for the customer's team throughout the engagement; from initial deployment and configuration through production rollout and optimization. * Prototype, validate, ship. Move fast: build a prototype, put it in front of the customer, iterate on real feedback, and get it into production through our CI/CD pipelines while meeting our engineering standards. * Generalize back into the platform. Return from engagements and work with core engineering and product to turn one-off customer solutions into reusable abstractions and platform capabilities that scale across our entire customer base. * Be the voice of the customer. Bring hard-won field insights back to the roadmap, championing the features and integrations that solve real enterprise problems. * Work alongside core engineering. Participate in shared code review, architecture discussions, you're a full member of the engineering org, not a siloed services team. What you bring: * Hands-on full-stack or backend engineering. 3+ years shipping production software, ideally with Python and/or TypeScript. You're comfortable owning a feature end-to-end across an unfamiliar codebase. * Customer-facing instincts. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you enjoy being in the room with customers translating ambiguous requirements into working software. * Pragmatic and fast. You prototype, validate, and ship in days and weeks, not months. You'd rather get something real in front of a customer than perfect a diagram. * Comfort with cloud and infra fundamentals. Working familiarity with AWS, containers, CI/CD, and Postgres/SQL. Experience with Temporal, Redis, and LLM tooling is a strong plus. * Integration mindset. Experience building connectors, APIs, or ETL/data pipelines against messy real-world data sources and enterprise systems. * Security awareness. You understand why enterprise clients care about tenant isolation, least-privilege access, and data handling, and you build with those constraints in mind. * Builder's curiosity. You enjoy learning a new domain (private markets / finance) and a full AI application stack, and you thrive in a 0→1 environment where you own outcomes.
