What We Offer
There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets,
experience and training, and licensure and certifications. The base salary range for this position is: $230,000 to $330,000 and is

Engagements * Lead technology due diligence engagements end-to-end, forming a clear view of a target’s technology platforms, architecture, and development practices, and translating technical findings into actionable commercial and investment insights that inform deal strategy. * Assess enterprise technology environments, architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software development practices in the context of the transaction thesis. * Evaluate how AI, data platforms, and emerging technologies support the commercial strategy, product roadmap, and growth ambitions. * Translate technical findings into commercial, financial, and investment insights that directly inform client decision-making. * For fintech and software platform targets, evaluate the product architecture, data assets, and platform scalability alongside the commercial value of the product in the market. * Where the engagement involves an integration, assess IT synergy opportunities and identify key IT integration considerations. * Where the engagement involves a carve-out, assess the standalone operating model impacts on IT and evaluate related standalone cost adjustments for IT expenditure Client & Stakeholder Management * Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including private equity investment teams, CFOs and CTOs * Structure and present conclusions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Team & Practice * Mentor and develop team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and knowledge sharing across the team. * Support business development efforts, including proposals, client pitches, and thought leadership. What We’re Looking For * 7 to 10+ years of relevant experience (see Level Guidance above). * Strong track record of delivering technology-focused due diligence within financial services. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distil complex findings into actionable insights. * Proven experience leading teams and client relationships at a senior level. * Demonstrable depth in emerging technology (e.g., AI, GenAI, data platforms), combined with the ability to connect technical findings to commercial strategy, product competitiveness, and investment outcomes. * Familiarity with adjacent workstreams — such as operational due diligence or integration planning — is advantageous. Integration & Separation Engagements * Support pre-deal integration and separation planning engagements, working with Engagement Leads to develop a deal impact assessment with clear picture of Day 1 close requirements and operating model changes across business functions, operations and IT. * Work with clients and internal teams to design target operating models and integration or separation blueprints that reflect the transaction thesis and the realities of financial services operating environments. * Support development of integration or separation strategies, governance frameworks, and Day 1 readiness plans that set programs up for success from the outset. * Support Engagement Directors and Leads on Day 1 planning and mobilization, establishing the workstream structure, setting priorities, decision-making cadence, and early milestones required to support the client and drive the deal to a successful Close. * Build and maintain financial models for synergy opportunities, quantifying integration costs and benefit realization to support strategic decision making. * Support workshops with cross‑functional teams (Business, Operations and IT) to validate assumptions and ensure financial models reflect integration realities. * For carve-outs, evaluate standalone operating model impacts across IT and business functions and assess TSA requirements and exit planning considerations. * Evaluate how AI, data platforms, and emerging technologies can support post-deal value creation, incorporating these perspectives into integration or separation design. Client & Stakeholder Management * Ability to face off with senior client stakeholders, including Heads of Business Units, CFOs, COOs, and CTOs. * Support cross functional client workshops throughout the merger process, develop pre-workshop materials and stakeholder questioners. What We’re Looking For * Relevant experience in integration and separation planning or large transformational programs within financial services. * Experience in the Financial Services industry is essential, including a strong understanding of the sector’s value chain, key market participants, and emerging trends, along with specialization in at least one subsector such as Asset Management, Asset Servicing, Wealth Management, Banking, Insurance, and/or the associated Financial Services FinTech ecosystem. * Advanced Excel proficiency, including building cost / benefit financial models and developing financial bridges and synergy dashboards. * Strong track record of supporting large transformation programs and/or supporting IT / Operational or Business Functional workstreams independently. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distil complex findings into actionable insights. * Proven experience working with senior clients and/or business owners. * Strong understanding of financial services operating models, technology landscapes, and regulatory considerations. * Familiarity with technology or operational due diligence is advantageous.
