We're now looking for experienced bus drivers from across the EU to join our project in Boden, in cooperation with one of our major industrial partners.
About the Position
Start: 1 October 2026 in Boden
9-month contract with good possibility of extension
Employee transport for a major industrial partner – fixed routes, no ticket sales
Arrival on 14–15 September 2026 for introduction
Accommodation arranged
Full introduction program and support with administration
Salary and terms according to collective agreement Bussbranschavtalet (BBA) with supplements for unsocial hours on top
What awaits you as a driver
A full-time position (100%) within Nobina in Boden. As a bus driver you:
Transport our industrial partner's employees safely between accommodation and work
Drive fixed routes that are easy to learn
Represent Nobina with a friendly, service-minded attitude on board
Has EU citizenship or the legal right to work in Sweden
Holds a Category D driving licence issued in an EU country
Has a valid CPC / Code 95 (YKB)
Holds a valid tachograph driver card
Has at least 1 year of recent bus driving experience
Speaks communicative English
Can work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends

Together with our client Boden Kommun och Länstrafiken Norrbotten, we are responsible for operating and developing bus services in area Boden/Luleå. Personal qualities and qualifications As a bus driver at Nobina, you are sociable, flexible and enjoy meeting people. You handle stressful situations in a calm and confident manner and always drive safely and with environmentally awareness. In this role, you take responsibility for both passengers and the vehicle, in line with the Nobina Driver standard and our passenger promise. This means that you: Welcome passengers and provide the information they need for a safe and positive journey Drive safely, comfortably and with a green mindset, following all traffic regulations Take care of the bus and report any damage or risks you notice Contribute to a good working environment and collaborate with colleagues Stay up to date and participate in required training We are looking for someone who: Have a D-driver's license and a valid YKB (code 95), issued in an EU country Willingness to work shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends) Communicative English (Swedish is a plus) Driver card (tachograph) Experience: minimum 1 year in the last 3 years Swedish is an advantage, but we will provide you with training in Swedish. Rohrer Bus, based in Duncannon, PA, has delivered school and commercial passenger transportation solutions for over a century. The School Route Monitors provide critical support to our school transport drivers by assisting in their efforts to ensure safe and reliable transport for the students entrusted to our care, to and from school. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES * Know the route and remain alert to monitor the welfare of passengers while enroute. Keep order on the bus. * Communicate behavior problems and conditions of various stops with the driver. * Cooperate and communicate with school personnel, parents, and students. * Assist in pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including child checks. * Assist, as necessary, students in the loading and unloading process. * Attend all safety and training meetings. * Conduct emergency evacuations from the bus, including exiting from the emergency door. May also require physical removal of disabled child from the bus. * Assist driver in completion of required paperwork for the district, state and Rohrer Bus. * Clean the inside of the bus, including sweeping, dusting, and cleaning windows. * Other specialized functions as required by contract. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Must be 21 years of age or older and hold a valid PA ID. * Must pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening. * Medical: Ability to pass initial and routine physical examinations and drug/alcohol screening programs. * Comfortable using or learning fleet and workforce technology systems such as Samsara (GPS/vehicle tracking) and Dayforce (scheduling/HR). REQUIRED EXPECTATIONS * Must be able to work without direct supervision and manage time effectively across assigned routes. * Must be available for morning and afternoon drive times during the school year. * Cooperate and communicate professionally and respectfully with school personnel, parents, and students. * Dress in a professional and appropriate manner for a business environment. * Keep vehicle organized and clean, including sweeping, dusting, and cleaning windows. * Must be able to withstand varying indoor/outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures and adverse weather. * Perform all job functions in the safest manner, adhering to Rohrer Bus policies and all applicable federal and state laws. * Other specialized functions as required by contract.
