Strategic purpose of the role
As Product Manager, Ad Solutions, you are responsible for driving the development and evolution of key areas within Admarket —
Schibsted’s advertising platform. You work closely with the Head of Product to shape priorities and ensure meaningful progress
within your product domain.
You translate strategic direction into clear initiatives, structured product work, and measurable outcomes. The role balances
discovery and delivery, ensuring that product decisions create real user and business value while supporting the long-term
development of the platform.
You take ownership of your product area and are responsible for driving initiatives from discovery through execution.

Hver dag møter mange av oss annonser på VG, Aftenposten, Bergens Tidende, Stavanger Aftenblad og våre andre mediehus. Vi utvikler disse annonseproduktene og søker nå en Product Manager til Ad Product i Norge. Ad Product er en avdeling på tvers av Norge og Sverige, og selv om rollen er rettet mot det norske markedet, jobber du tett med svenske kollegaer. Hovedområdet ditt blir display, som er det største produktområdet i Schibsted i dag. Samtidig beveger annonseproduktene våre seg mot resultatbaserte løsninger, som rekkevidde, oppmerksomhet og konvertering, fremfor enkeltformater. Du er med å utvikle porteføljen i den retningen, på tvers av Schibsteds merkevarer, samtidig som du sikrer og henter mer ut av det vi allerede har. Rollen passer deg som motiveres av å forbedre og utvikle produkter, er nysgjerrig på hvordan ting henger sammen og fungerer, og trives i skjæringspunktet mellom kommersielle muligheter, teknologi og brukeropplevelse. Du trenger ikke erfaring fra mediebransjen. Det viktigste er kommersiell forståelse, analytisk evne, teknisk interesse, god samarbeids- og gjennomføringsevne. ANSVARSOMRÅDER * Sikre og videreutvikle dagens portefølje og maksimere inntekten fra den, og eie produkt-KPI-ene (f.eks eCPM, omsetning, viewability) for å følge opp og optimere produktene * Identifisere nye muligheter i markedet og utvikle produkter, fra innsikt og analyse, via konseptutvikling og testing, til lansering, som svarer på fremtidens annonsørbehov og gir en god brukeropplevelse * Sette retning og prioriteringer for display-porteføljen, og finne hvor de neste mulighetene ligger * Bygge business case og beslutningsgrunnlag, og legge fram produkt- og porteføljeendringer for ledergruppen * Være bindeledd mellom kommersielle behov og tekniske fagmiljøer i utviklingen av nye produktløsninger, og oversette mellom forretning og teknologi HVEM SER VI ETTER? * Kommersiell og analytisk teft: komfortabel med tall, KPI-er og business case * Bakgrunn fra produktledelse eller utvikling av digitale produkter og tjenester, med dokumentert erfaring fra å drive store utviklingsprosesser med mange stakeholdere * Teknisk forståelse og interesse for hvordan digitale produkter bygges, gjerne med kjennskap til adserving, og evne til å oversette mellom teknologi og forretning * Strukturert, med høy gjennomføringsevne og sterke samarbeids- og stakeholder-ferdigheter; skaper fremdrift uten formelt personalansvar * God relasjonsbygging og komfortabel med å være champion for egne produkter, og med å presentere og visualisere egne løsninger * Nysgjerrig på hvordan AI kan gjøre produktarbeidet og -prosessene mer effektive, eller øke kvaliteten i arbeidet vårt i Ad Product Vi vet at få kandidater matcher alt punkt for punkt.
