As a (Senior) Design Engineer within the system integration team, you will find yourself at the heart of product development
related efforts across Isar Aerospace. You will be responsible for fluids related hardware design and development, from its early
conception, to its qualification and integration into the final product. Additionally, you will oversee integration of various
systems and components into the global launch vehicle, while ensuring their functionality. Furthermore, you will work closely
with a passionate team, as well as the rest of highly motivated colleagues across other teams/departments. You will play a crucial
role in getting our orbital launch vehicle designed and built.

Mission Brief You will be responsible for defining the thermal environment and architecture of the vehicle, ranging from detailed thermal modeling and system level coupled loads analyses and to active and passive thermal control design. You will be in charge of the development, execution, and correlation of thermal models using FEM/FDM/FVM tools and test data. The decisions you make will directly support hardware qualification, test planning, and system-level design choices, ultimately enhancing the thermal robustness, performance, and reliability of the vehicle throughout its mission. Mission Brief You will be responsible for the structural analysis of entire assemblies belonging to our rocket’s primary and secondary structures. From trading design concepts to sizing and validating design iterations and examining the impact of manufacturing deviations, you will play an important role in guiding design decisions and pushing performance and reliability of our structures forward. As a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer you will play a major role in improving our overall analysis and verification workflow by defining standards, sharing technical knowledge and reviewing your colleagues’ results and identifying action points. Mission Brief You will be responsible for the vibroacoustic environment definition of our rocket, ranging from analytical predictions and simulations to instrumentation planning and testing. You will also lead the processing and interpretation of test data. The decisions you make will directly support the qualifications of flight hardware and will play a key role in guiding design choices, ultimately enhancing the performance and reliability of our systems. Your Role in Our Space Mission: * Performing vibroacoustic analysis throughout the vehicle in the launch and ascent phases of the flight to obtain vibroacoustic environments for vehicle components, as well as payload compartment. * Being responsible for vibroacoustic instrumentation, including selection of the sensors, selection of the location and documentation. * Vibroacoustic data processing from analysis, tests or flight and creation of environmental test specs. * Supporting ground shock tests, modal tests, vibration tests including test planning, instrumentation selection etc. * Being responsible for vibration & shock isolator selection and any other applicable vibration reduction means and supporting the validation tests of the designs. * Managing qualification status of the units for vibration and shock. Test tailoring for avionics and propulsion equipment and managing mechanical loads documentation for FTS, RTS and other units, supporting environmental compliance analysis utilizing comparative damage analysis, qualification by analysis/similarity studies and reducing the number of vibration and shock tests. * Performing normal modes, frequency response, random response, shock response and coupled load analyses by FE codes (such as Optistruct, Nastran or similar) as well as construction of FE models (in Hypermesh or Simcenter).
