💙 About Bigblue E-commerce is booming — but independent brands still struggle to match the seamless logistics of giants like Amazon. At Bigblue, we're on a mission to change that. We help brands by democratizing best-in-class operations: scaling faster while delivering a five-star customer experience. Since 2018, we've built a tech-driven logistics platform powering 500+ brands — from fast-growing DTC players to global names like MUJI, Aigle, and Cabaïa. With 110+ employees across Paris, Madrid, and London, our proprietary WMS (Warehouse Management System) Atlas, and a network of 7 warehouses across Europe, we're solving logistics challenges that others haven't dared to tackle — making fulfillment faster, smarter, and greener. Backed by $20+M in funding and trusted by the next generation of e-commerce leaders, we're scaling rapidly — from 10 million orders in 2024 toward ambitious enterprise expansion. The journey ahead is bold, and we're looking for the right partner to help us lead the way. 📊 What data means for Bigblue At Bigblue, data is the backbone of how we operate. Our warehouse network generates millions of events every day — picks, shipments, returns, inventory movements — and it's our data infrastructure that makes sense of it all. Built on BigQuery and dbt, surfaced through Metabase and Atlas, our data platform is what allows us to move fast and operate reliably at scale. As we expand across Europe, keeping this infrastructure robust, scalable, and trustworthy is one of our most critical challenges. The Ops Excellence team plays a key role in that mission: engineering the data layer that powers every operational decision we make.

This position will be located in Paris 🧚🏻 OUR DATA TEAM At Joko, the Data team plays a central role in transforming data into a true product that powers insights, automation, and innovation across the company. We are part of the Data & Operations department, and our mission is to build robust data foundations that enable all teams to make smarter, faster, and more scalable decisions. Today, the team is made of Data Analysts handling full-stack responsibilities, from building dashboards and conducting analyses to designing and maintaining data pipelines. Joining us as a Data Analyst Intern means getting the opportunity to learn from this full-stack approach: you will be exposed to the entire lifecycle of data processes, from data ingestion and transformation to modeling, business analysis, and visualization. Here's what we do: * Build data as a product: We design, document, and maintain trusted datasets used company-wide—from business reporting to experimentation, automation, and internal tools. * Operate and evolve a modern data stack: We currently operate on Snowflake, dbt, Airbyte, and Metabase. As we grow, we aim to keep strengthening our stack to ensure it stays reliable and robust, while supporting the company’s evolving needs. * Deliver actionable insights and power AI: We deliver high-quality reports, self-serve dashboards, and data tools that help every team—from Product to Ops to Marketing—understand, explore, and act on data. We also lay the ground for data science initiatives and AI-powered features that shape Joko's future products. * Spreading data culture: At Joko, data is everyone's business. We foster a strong data culture by training teams and sharing best practices to make data both accessible and trustworthy. 🎯 WHAT YOU WILL DO As a Data Analyst Intern, you will have a cross-functional role and collaborate closely with teams to understand our data and develop insights. * Continuous learning and improvement: As "never stop learning" is one of our values, you will continuously grow your skills and knowledge, accompanied by an experienced Data Analyst who will support you in mastering analytical methods and the tools of our data stack, helping you develop new expertise. * Data loading and transformation: You will be involved in loading and transforming the data as we have a “full stack” approach in Data at Joko. You will closely collaborate with experienced Data Analysts, who will guide and support you throughout these tasks. While you’ll receive assistance on data engineering parts, this role will give you exposure to the entire lifecycle of data processes. * Deep-dive analyses: You will explore and analyse data to uncover trends, patterns, and potential issues that will help in the decision-making processes across all teams. * Building data solutions: You will contribute to the design and implementation of internal data solutions, such as forecasting or scoring models and decision-support tools that turn data into actionable opportunities for other teams and help them make better decisions at scale. * Reporting and data visualization: You will participate in creating content, such as dashboards and charts, using our data visualization tool. You will be involved in defining the report's content and constructing dashboards and charts to effectively communicate data-driven findings to stakeholders. * Interactions with stakeholders: You will work hand-in-hand with them to understand their needs, collect their feedback, and also evangelize data usage to help them make more informed decisions. 👀 WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Experience: You are seeking your end-of-study internship. Having done an internship in Data and/or in a demanding environment (e.g., M&A, consulting) is a plus. * Education: You graduated from a top-tier engineering, business, or applied science program. * Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges, you welcome feedback and you are willing to get better every day to reach excellence. * Problem-solving & Analytical skills: You love solving complex problems and analyzing data. * Coding knowledge: Familiarity with at least one programming language is expected. Mastering SQL and Python is not mandatory, as you can still learn when joining, but it’s definitely a plus. * Business acumen: You can understand the needs of your business stakeholders and get the big picture of how the business is running. * Communication: You know how to present your conclusions clearly and concisely (written and oral). * Languages: You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. 💎 OUR PERKS (Some of the benefits listed below are available to full-time positions only) At Joko, we believe that flexibility and trust are essential. Our work environment reflects this through: * Flexible remote : If you live in Paris, you can choose to work from our office or from home with no constraints. If you live elsewhere, we can provide access to a coworking space and a coworking budget. * Work from anywhere : Want to spend a month in Italy while working? You can work from most countries in the world for up to 3 months per year. On top of that, we offer plenty of perks: * 💸 Top-market compensation * 📈 Equity for everyone with the chance to own a piece of what you build * 🤖 Half-day each week dedicated to leveling up with AI by exploring new tools, iterating hard, and sharpening your skills * 🌴 Yearly offsite in amazing locations and budget for team-building events & monthly in-person gatherings * 💪 Contribution to your ClassPass subscription * 🍼 8-week leave paid 100% for the second parent * …and much more, check the full list here! 🤝 OUR HIRING PROCESS 1. Step 2 – Role-specific assessments * For non-engineering roles: A take-home case study followed by a 45-min interview. We assess both your output and how you think in real time. The exercise will be relevant to your role (e.g. analysis, strategy, or process design). * For engineering roles: A 90-min live technical interview on CoderPad covering code understanding, review, system design, and product thinking (with AI serving as a collaboration tool). 4. If you're driven by innovation and ready to make an impact at scale, we’d love to hear from you. Mission Deliver high-impact analyses and data models that help R&D Engineering ship faster, operate reliably, and make better product decisions. Be a pragmatic analytics partner: iterate quickly, document clearly, and bias toward action. What you’ll do Own the data maintenance and reliability of key R&D internal Pigment apps and reporting (FinOps, Engineering Metrics, AI usage/impact), including definitions and refresh cadence. Be accountable for R&D analytics models (documentation, maintenance, and evolution), from lightweight curated datasets to scalable handoff with central Data when needed. Define best practices for structuring and scaling R&D apps, including criteria for when to create a new app vs extend an existing one, and how to manage shared reference data. Implement automated quality checks and lightweight data contracts to ensure trusted reporting for leadership and teams. Enable self-serve by producing ready-to-use prompt templates and playbooks aligned to R&D’s most common questions. Prepare leadership decision boards and recurring reporting for staffing, reporting, and hiring discussions. Support ad hoc, small-scope initiatives (SaaS reviews, offsite preparation), R&D All Hands, and R&D process automation efforts (e.g., onboarding access, timesheets). Work in the Pigment app for internal purposes. A typical first project would be to review and improve the R&D Reporting model (grain, definitions, consistency, and usability for stakeholders). Other needs involve insight collection about engineers’ work in connection to AI and the preparation of tested, curated boards for financial decision-making. What success looks like Week 1–2: Understand R&D Engineering workflows, existing data sources, and current reporting gaps Month 1: Write an implementation proposal to re-model R&D analytics validated with modeling experts Months 2-3: Engineering teams and Leadership trust the R&D analytics model and leverage it for reporting systematically, thanks to prioritized coverage of R&D use cases, scheduled data routines, and automated checks This is not exhaustive, as other smaller tasks may be overtaken in parallel, but delivering on this objective and timeline would be considered a full, successful deliverable.
