Role Overview
As a Raw Material Co-Ordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly by managing stock levels, supplier relationships, and material availability. You will ensure that the call off and placement of PO’s for raw materials and packaging are executed and made available at the right time, in the right place and in the right quantity, in line with a planned production schedule. You will work closely with the Production Planners, Warehouse Team, and Procurement Team to mitigate supply risks and maintain seamless operations.
TITLE: Office Clerk B POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Office Clerk B will work under the direction of the plant Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: * Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. * Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Professionally assist incoming calls and doors * Help greet guests in a professional and friendly manner when available * Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as assigned * Perform a variety of clerical duties for Plant Management Staff * Help maintain main office clean and organized * Maintain inventory for office supplies and safety supplies for plant. * Ensure office equipment is functioning properly and call for service as required * Assist as support staff for all projects assigned. For projects assigned or in support of others’ projects: conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports, spreadsheets and presentations. Knowledge of Word, Excel PowerPoint and use of the Internet will be required * Monthly Cycle Count * Monthly Physical Inventory * Weekly Compound Cycle Count * Schedule Orders for Extrusion operators and Conversion operators * Enter Purchase Requests for all incoming materials * Receive all incoming raw materials and supplies * Submit all approved invoices to accounting * Obtain bids and schedule all outgoing shipments * Prepare paperwork for Shipping * Responsible for daily filing of shipping documents * Verify Daily Production in IBS system and enter into AS400 * Check Order status daily * ITV uploads * Recommend the purchase of needed safety equipment and supplies * Dispense and maintain knives inventory * Maintain an open line of communication directly to the Safety Manager for follow up or action on any safety concerns, complaints, incidents, or issues. * Perform other related duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position * Maintain a Safety program library, keeping safety files up to date * Maintain and check blood pathogen kit * Daily checks and maintain the sanitizing stations * Other general duties as assigned * Strong verbal and written communication skills, and good administrative and organizational skills * Must work in a team and must have good interpersonal skills * Ability to use discretion, be honest and maintain employee confidentiality * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Keeps the Assembly and Fulfillment management team informed of such incidents and makes recommendations to prevent similar problems from happening in the future. * Assists Assembly and Fulfillment Managers and may participate in performing personnel management tasks such as new worker orientation, transfers, evaluations and explanation and enforcement of Company rules. * Works from the most complex verbal or written process/production specifications, instructions, diagrams or models of higher-level technical personnel. * Follows safe operating procedures and all safety rules and guidelines. * Selects, installs, and sets up assembly lines, and template of order specifications and provides work direction as needed. * Adjusts controls and process of assembly line with input from Management. * Manages material flow to and from the assembly lines. * Observes assembly lines to detect product defects or line malfunctions. Adjusts assembly process as required to ensure product meets specifications and quality standards. Measures product dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation and performs quality inspection of finished product. * Removes cut pieces from product. * Performs minor machine maintenance such as cleaning. * Counts, stacks, marks, bands and transports finished product to the proper area as directed. * Performs a wide variety of jobs within fulfillment facility as needed. * Participates in routine testing or inspection activities as part of assembly or production process. * Evaluates area line operations and recommends improvements. * Participates in area meetings. * Performs inventory transactions. * Participates in training and development programs as required of the position. * Performs a variety of miscellaneous job-related tasks as may be assigned from time-to-time by a Management Representative.
