RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee day-to-day transportation operations needs at assigned locations in coordination with other site leaders. * Participate in the development of site specific goals and objectives, and ensure alignment and effective execution within the site. * Review and evaluate daily route schedules and work with Logistics Operations Planning and Scheduling to address issues and deficiencies. * Providing mentoring and accountability to, direct reports and succession planning through coaching, leadership development and training, and performance management. * Ensure work areas meet or exceed applicable workplace safety standards, including yard cleanliness and, completing GEMBA walks. (Gemba translates to “where the work is”). * Ensure timely and effective communication with internal teams. * As needed, coordinate and monitor the movement of inventory on the ground through the warehouse workflow; evaluate and distribute work and assigned shifts to meet business needs. REQUIREMENTS * Knowledge of DOT compliance/regulations * 2+ years of people leadership experience * 3+ years of logistics or supply chain experience * Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in related fields. * Demonstrable experience leading or developing people (in either formal or informal roles), including managing CDL drivers. * Transportation experience, which may include driving a vehicle transporter or tractor trailer, or equivalent Military experience preferred. * Must be available to work Thursday-Sunday, 5pm-5am WORKING CONDITIONS Ability to safely perform physical requirements of the position, including: frequently move in and out of vehicles; frequently stand, bend, twist, stoop, and squat; regularly walk 75’; regularly climb ladders and ramps of up to 10’; regularly work up to 10’ above ground; continually sit for 10 hours; regularly push, pull and lift 20 lbs, and periodically lift up to 60 lbs. Ability to work in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, dusty, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions such as: rain, snow, heat, etc. Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends and holidays as needed. FULFILMENT EXECUTIVE – HONG KONG We are looking for an experienced QC & Logistics Associate to join our Hong Kong office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing diamond and jewellery shipments, ensuring timely movement and maintaining the highest standards of quality control. The primary objective is to ensure diamonds and jewellery flow in and out of the Hong Kong office with minimal delays while ensuring every item meets Nivoda’s quality standards. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Hand-deliver diamonds to local customers when needed * Collect diamonds and jewellery from local suppliers, perform quality checks, and prepare items for shipment * Perform jewellery QC, including checking for manufacturing defects, confirming product specifications (weight, size, finish), and ensuring stones are securely set * Identify any discrepancies between products received and purchase order specifications (stone quality, metal type, craftsmanship, etc.) * Inspect jewellery for damage, scratches, loose stones, and overall finishing before dispatch * Create shipments using the Nivoda platform and send labels to suppliers to ensure timely dispatch * Receive consolidated shipments via Brinks, UPS, FedEx, etc. * Mark orders as received in the Nivoda system * Liaise with suppliers regarding shipments and forward invoices to the finance team * Assist customer support teams with shipping queries, order updates, and urgent delivery requests * Support smooth daily operations of the Hong Kong office * Handle general administrative tasks as needed * Follow up with carriers (Brinks, FedEx, UPS, etc.) regarding shipment delays * Process returned diamonds and jewellery from customers * Contribute to the continuous improvement of local office processes and workflows WHAT YOU’LL NEED * Minimum 2 years of diamond and/or jewellery quality control experience * Experience managing stock or inventory of high-value products * Strong understanding of jewellery craftsmanship standards, stone setting types, metal types, and common QC defects * Logistics experience or familiarity with Brinks, FedEx, UPS, and tracking systems (preferred) * Strong attention to detail * High levels of honesty, professionalism, and integrity WHAT YOU’LL GET * Opportunity to join a fast-growing global company * Exposure to international operations and best practices * Unlimited holiday * A dynamic, collaborative, and supportive work environment
