About This Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR), Data Sales is the frontline driver of pipeline for Crexi Intelligence, our market data
and analytics product for commercial real estate professionals. Working in a high-velocity outbound environment, the
SDR identifies, engages, and qualifies prospective buyers — including investors, developers, appraisers, assessors, lenders, and
retailers — and hands off sales-ready opportunities to Account Executives. Success in this role is measured by consistent
attainment of outbound activity targets, qualified meetings booked, and pipeline contribution. The SDR is a self-starter
who thrives on cold calls, learns the CRE market quickly, and continuously refines outreach to sharpen the top of the funnel.

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in our Playa Vista, California location is $65,000 to $75,000 a
year with eligibility for generous commissions, equity, and healthcare insurance. The final salary offered to a successful
candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable

About This Role A Sales Development Representative (SDR), Pro Sales is responsible for generating a qualified pipeline of leads and opportunities for the Pro Sales Account Executive team. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, identifying and engaging commercial real estate brokers and owners who match Crexi’s ideal customer profile, and converting those initial touches into booked meetings and qualified opportunities that drive new paid subscription revenue. What You’ll Do * Runs high-volume outbound prospecting — cold calls, emails, and social touches — to engage commercial real estate brokers and owners matching Crexi’s ideal customer profile. * Books qualified meetings and introductory calls between prospective customers and Pro Sales Account Executives. * Qualifies inbound and outbound leads, verifying fit and readiness before handing off to the AE team. * Manages and maintains an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring all prospecting activity and outcomes are logged in real time. * Uses Outreach and AI-assisted tools (email drafting, call prep, prospect research) to increase outbound volume and personalization. * Maintains expert-level knowledge of Crexi’s Pro product value proposition and competitive landscape, and helps peers sharpen their messaging in team discussions and call reviews. * Collaborates with the SDR team and SDR Manager to share market signals, refine messaging, and improve prospecting sequences. * Shares customer and market feedback with internal teams to help refine Crexi’s go-to-market approach. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a sales or customer-facing organization. * 1–2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or a customer-facing role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding activity targets. * Demonstrated cold-calling experience and comfort with high-volume outbound (required). * Hands-on experience with Salesforce and a sales engagement platform (Outreach, Salesloft, or similar) preferred. * Commercial real estate background or exposure preferred, not required. Who You Are * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and qualify prospects quickly over phone and email. * Disciplined outbound work ethic with a track record of consistently exceeding activity and pipeline targets. * Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Zoom, and RingCentral. * Comfort using AI-assisted tools for call prep, email drafting, and prospect research to increase efficiency and personalization. * Positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to receive and apply constructive feedback. * Proven, creative problem-solving approach with the ability to adapt messaging and tactics based on response data. * Curiosity and interest in developing as a sales professional with a long-term growth mindset. * Commercial real estate exposure or interest is a plus. About This Role: As the Manager, Sales Development, you will build, coach, and scale a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives. You will be an impactful part of the revenue function by contributing to coaching playbooks, refining KPIs, partnering with Account Executives, Sales Leaders, and Revenue Operations to ensure SDRs consistently deliver quality pipeline into the broader sales funnel. This is a people-management and operations execution role that requires strong sales DNA, data-driven decision making, and a passion for developing talent. What You’ll Do People Development * Onboard, train, and coach SDRs to achieve individual and team goals. * Communicate clear expectations and development plans for team members. * Conduct regular 1:1s, engagement reviews, and skills development sessions. Operations Execution * Build and scale the SDR playbook — outbound frameworks, messaging, objection handling, qualification frameworks, etc. * Set clear weekly/monthly KPIs (activities, conversions, pipeline contribution, meetings set). * Monitor team performance metrics and adjust tactics to improve pipeline quality and velocity. Cross-Functional Alignment * Align with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to continuously improve handoff conversion and pipeline quality. * Work with Revenue Operations to refine data, tooling (CRM, cadence tools), and reporting. Operational Excellence * Analyze performance trends and report insights to Sales Leadership. * Champion scalable processes around CRM hygiene, forecasting SDR outcomes, and ramp efficiency. * Lead weekly team meetings and pipeline reviews. Who You Are Experience & Skills * Six or more years of experience in sales or sales development, with a minimum of 3 years in a people management role. * Proven track record of building or scaling SDR teams in a SaaS or technology-driven environment (experience in CRE tech a strong plus). * Strong understanding of outbound prospecting playbooks – cold calling, email sequences, social selling, and qualification methodologies. * Data-oriented leader: metrics, dashboards, and forecasts inform decisions and coaching. * General understanding of CRE demand audience a plus (Appraisers, Lenders, Principals, etc) * Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building * Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close * Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services Management Attributes * Strong coaching and training focus with a passion for team growth. * Excellent written and verbal communicator. * Ability to influence and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Operations. * High-energy, coachable, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
