About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Construction Labourer to join our CTSL team based in Preston, working on nationwide projects. You will
work as part of a two-person team alongside a Multi Skilled Builder, carrying out specialist remediation work on oil contaminated
residential properties across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in environmental remediation whilst working in a
varied and challenging environment. You'll assist with both internal and external building works, undertaking site works,
remediation, and reinstatement tasks under the direction of the Multi Skilled Builder, with training provided on the job and
opportunities to expand your skill set.

RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform general labour tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. * Assist with site preparation, debris removal, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. * Use basic hand tools safely and effectively, including hammers, drills, wrenches, shovels, and other common tools. * Support skilled workers as needed by preparing materials, setting up equipment, or following task instructions. * Follow safety guidelines, report hazards, and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). * Carry out assigned tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards * Work in various indoor and outdoor environments and climatic/weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, dust, and uneven terrain. * Perform physically demanding work including repetitive bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. * Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on operational and project requirements. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * 1+ years of construction or labour-intensive work experience. * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. * Basic understanding of construction tools, materials, and techniques. * General knowledge of job-site safety practices and safe work procedures. * Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. * Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team. * Dependability, punctuality, and regular attendance. * Ability to adapt to changing job-site conditions, work assignments, and project demands. * Ability to work safely in fast-paced construction environments with exposure to noise, dust, heavy equipment, and varying weather conditions.

What you offer: * Experience with drywall, taping, roofing, landscaping, construction, or insulation an asset * Ability to work in different environmental conditions (indoors/outdoors, hot/cold) * G Driver's license with a clear driver's abstract * Must be comfortable working at heights and tight spaces * Proven ability to work effectively as a team * Proven time management, problem-solving and organizational skills * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to work OT and weekends when needed * Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills Standard Job Duties: * Help with the insulation of attics, walls, and other areas using materials such as fiberglass batts * Duties also include accurate and on-time completion of paperwork, loading/unloading materials and equipment, job site clean-up, and various maintenance tasks as needed * Ability to work Mon-Fri (occasional weekends), start time as early as 6am with flexible end times Work Environment: * Installers work in pairs on a variety of job sites * Work both indoors and outdoors * Work can occur in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces * Working at heights * Standing, bending, lifting and ladder use * Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety glasses, gloves, masks/respirators, and overalls * Use of common handheld power tools.
