About Wolt At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we're building the delivery of (almost) everything and you'll find us in over 500 cities in more than 30 countries around the world. We are a Helsinki-based technology company that makes it incredibly easy to discover and get the best restaurants, grocery stores and other local shops delivered to our customers. To enable this, Wolt develops a wide range of technologies from local logistics to retail software and financial solutions, as well as operates its own grocery stores under the brand Wolt Market. Our team has been working hard to build an amazing service for our customers, merchants and couriers – all while making cities better. And we’re excited to see the shared impact we’ve had along the way, serving customers, supporting local businesses, and creating earning opportunities around the world. In 2022, Wolt joined forces with DoorDash, marking an exciting new chapter in our journey. Together, we continue to think big and expand our reach across the globe. At Trustpilot, we're on an incredible journey. We're a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world's largest open customer review platform, and while we've come a long way, there's still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust! At Trustpilot, trust is our product. Protecting the integrity of our platform is critical to maintaining the confidence of millions of consumers and businesses around the world. As fraud and abuse tactics continue to evolve in sophistication and scale, we’re investing in stronger, smarter capabilities to detect threats, prevent harm, and reinforce trust across our ecosystem. We’re now looking for a Senior Director of Fraud & Investigations to lead and evolve Trustpilot’s global fraud and investigative capabilities. This role sits at the centre of some of the company’s most important trust challenges — shaping strategy, strengthening operational excellence, and partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, and Policy teams to stay ahead of increasingly complex threat actors. This is not just about enforcement. It’s about designing scalable systems, signals, and interventions that protect the platform while maintaining fairness for legitimate users and businesses. Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to build a modern, intelligence-led fraud function that enables Trustpilot to scale with confidence. What you’ll be doing: * Define and lead the fraud strategy: Develop and evolve Trustpilot’s global fraud and abuse strategy, identifying emerging threats, shaping risk frameworks, and providing meaningful insights and reporting to senior leadership. * Strengthen detection and prevention capabilities: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to build and optimise scalable fraud detection systems, balancing platform protection with user experience and fairness. * Lead complex investigations and enforcement actions: Oversee high-impact investigations into organised fraud and abuse, establishing clear investigative standards and ensuring consistent, defensible enforcement decisions. * Drive operational excellence across the function: Build efficient workflows, tooling, and case management processes that improve quality, speed, scalability, and operational efficiency across investigations and enforcement activities. * Build intelligence-led capabilities: Establish proactive intelligence and monitoring capabilities to identify emerging abuse vectors, detect patterns, and strengthen Trustpilot’s ability to prevent fraud before harm occurs. * Partner across the organisation: Collaborate closely with Legal, Policy, Communications, Product, and Trust teams, translating complex fraud and platform integrity issues into clear business, operational, and reputational risks. * Represent Trustpilot externally: Act as a senior voice on platform trust and fraud prevention with external stakeholders, including regulators, industry partners, media, and investors where appropriate. * Lead and develop a global team: Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing international team of fraud specialists and investigators, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and mission-driven culture. Who you are: * An experienced fraud, trust & safety, or investigations leader with a strong track record operating within scaled digital platforms, marketplaces, fintech, or high-growth technology environments. * Proven in building and leading high-performing fraud or investigations teams, balancing strategic direction with operational delivery and execution. * Highly credible working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to develop modern fraud detection and prevention capabilities, including exposure to machine learning-driven approaches. * A strong investigator with sound judgement and experience leading complex, high-stakes investigations and enforcement decisions in ambiguous or fast-moving environments. * Strategic and commercially minded, able to think like an adversary while balancing platform protection, user experience, and business impact. * An influential communicator who can clearly articulate complex fraud trends, risks, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership. * Operationally rigorous and solutions-oriented, with a passion for improving processes, tooling, scalability, and investigative effectiveness. * Calm under pressure, highly curious, and motivated by protecting platform integrity and strengthening trust for consumers and businesses globally. What’s in it for you: * A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you * Competitive compensation package + bonus * Restricted Stock Units * 25 days holiday per year, with an extra 5 days holiday allocated after your 1 year anniversary (prorated) * Two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community * Rich learning and development opportunities are supported through the Trustpilot Academy and Blinkist * Comprehensive health package, pension, and full access to Headspace, a popular mindfulness app to promote positive mental health * Paid parental leave * Central office with a laid-back vibe and constant buzz of different languages being spoken everywhere you go It’s complete with a coffee bar, canteen, and table tennis and has a wide variety of refreshments available - you can opt-in for breakfast and lunch at an affordable price * Regular opportunities to connect and get to know your fellow Trusties, including company-wide celebrations and events, ERG activities, and team socials * Opportunity to join the Trustpilot Social Club for a small monthly fee and attend regular social and leisure activities like go-karting, cooking classes, and escape rooms * Employee discounts to restaurants and shops * Tailored leadership development program consisting of workshops, coaching opportunities, and structured feedback mechanisms to enable world-class leadership Still not sure? We want to be a part of creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world of work for all. We’re excited to hear about your experiences along with how you will contribute to our working culture. Even if you don’t feel you meet all the requirements, we'd still really like to hear from you! #LI-SK1 About us Trustpilot began in 2007 with a simple yet powerful idea that is more relevant today than ever — to be the universal symbol of trust, bringing consumers and businesses together through reviews.
