As a Data Engineer, your role involves crafting and maintaining robust data pipelines, utilising Python and SQL, to ensure efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data. Your responsibilities will include: * Data Pipeline Development: Building and optimising data pipelines to facilitate seamless data flow across systems and platforms. * Database Management: Managing databases, ensuring their integrity, and implementing data storage and retrieval solutions. * Cloud Services Integration: Leveraging cloud services such as MS Azure, GCP, and AWS to architect and deploy scalable data solutions. * Machine Learning Integration: Collaborating with teams to integrate machine learning models into data pipelines for enhanced data processing. * Utilising Spark & Kafka: Implementing and working with Spark and Kafka for real-time data processing and analytics. The RUN team, international in scope (EMEA, AMER, APAC) and in full growth, is made up of around fifty experts and is still growing in order to guarantee the satisfaction of a growing number of customers. ROLE: Here at Ivalua, we are currently looking for a Manager, RUN to develop and execute strategies that support maintenance goals of quality, SLA and customer satisfaction. You will be reporting to Director, RUN and you will be the first point of contact for Clients or Partners implementing Ivalua Solution. WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US * Run planning and stand-up meetings * Monitor issue backlog and prioritize team deliverable toward SLA achievements * Responsible for your maintenance team's efficiency, including reports, analysis and forecasts * Communicate standards and best practices. * Guarantee financial balance of your projects * Meet with all other Run managers, directors and teams to review inter-dependency of all projects * Perform scheduled and un-scheduled audits to ensure adherence to Ivalua's maintenance standards * Support code review process * Develop and execute strategies that support maintenance goals of quality, SLA and customer satisfaction * Develop and manage preventive maintenance measures * Build strong relationships with customers * Address customer concerns in a proactive and responsive manner * Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables * Ensure that validated deliverable (maintenance release) meet functional and design specifications and requirements * Diagnosing customer problems and testing product patches * Documenting product issues in Ivalua tracking system (extranet) * Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management * Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes YOUR PROFILE If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you: Skills and Experience: * Minimum 10 years of current/ prior experience in Microsoft technologies like C#, Asp.net, SQL server, React.JS in a software environment with progressive movement into leadership / management. * Experience in Procurement / Spend Management/ Supply Chain is required * Successful experience in audit, quality certification process, required knowledge of IT implementation projects and ideally who knows about procurement. * PMP or PRINCE 2 certification - good to have * Experience managing development teams in an agile environment. * Previous experience managing outsourced projects/teams. * To communicate priorities to team member and escalate to management * Creative solving of technical problems – to ensure the ability troubleshoot defect with efficiency * Technical understanding of software components and architectures * Work on processes, work with the project teams to identify the problems in the processes, make recommendations and drive process changes in our organization. * Preferred University degree in BE/BTech or master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer science, or a closely related field or foreign equivalent. Procurement domain will be an added advantage. Summary In this role you will design, build, and evolve the next generation of Modulr’s event-driven payments platform. You’ll work across the full engineering lifecycle—from shaping technical approaches to delivering production-grade software—within a squad that values ownership, excellence, and continuous improvement. Specific duties Engineering & Architecture •Design and develop backend services using Java (17+) or similar OO languages. •Build and evolve microservices and distributed, event-driven components in a cloud-native environment. •Contribute to architectural patterns that support throughput, resilience, reliability, and observability. •Design clean, well-documented RESTful APIs and service contracts. •Work with relational data stores, especially PostgreSQL, and contribute to data modelling. Distributed Systems & Reliability •Engineer solutions for concurrency, idempotency, fault tolerance, retries, and high availability. •Improve system performance, reduce latency, and identify bottlenecks across services. •Build systems with strong observability—logs, metrics, tracing—ensuring issues can be diagnosed quickly.
