Are you passionate about reducing the climate impacts of freight transportation and accelerating the transition to a zero-emission
logistics sector?
Would you like to work alongside some of the world's largest companies, governments, NGOs, and industry leaders to drive
meaningful change across global supply chains?
Smart Freight Centre (SFC) is a globally active non-profit organization dedicated to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from
freight transportation through collaboration, transparency, and innovation.
We bring together multinational corporations, logistics providers, carriers, technology companies, NGOs, and policymakers to
develop practical solutions that enable the freight sector to measure, manage, and reduce emissions at scale.
About Smart Freight Centre
Through globally recognized programs, methodologies, and partnerships, SFC helps organizations address complex challenges related
to freight emissions accounting, reporting, target setting, and decarbonization.
Our ambition is to help reduce freight emissions by one billion tonnes by 2030 and support the transition to zero-emission
logistics by 2050 or earlier.
Joining SFC means becoming part of a mission-driven, international team working at the forefront of freight decarbonization and
helping shape the future of sustainable logistics worldwide.
About the Position
Road freight is one of the largest sources of transport-related greenhouse gas emissions, and electrifying commercial vehicle
fleets is one of the most impactful opportunities to decarbonize logistics.
SFC's Fleet Electrification Coalition (FEC) brings together leading shippers, carriers, vehicle manufacturers, infrastructure
providers, and ecosystem partners to accelerate the deployment of zero-emission trucks at scale through demand aggregation,
coordinated procurement, and ecosystem development.
In North America, this includes flagship initiatives such as ZET SCALE and the development of scalable electric trucking
corridors.
As a Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting some of North America's most ambitious fleet electrification
initiatives. You will conduct total cost of ownership (TCO), emissions, operational, and economic analyses that directly inform
fleet investment decisions and deployment strategies.
You will also help improve and automate analytical processes, develop scalable data workflows, and contribute technical expertise
across multiple projects.
