We're building a system that represents domain knowledge as modular probabilistic models — making analysis rigorous and
transparent. Users can connect these models flexibly into larger structures. The system enforces consistency across them, and
propagates uncertainty through each step. Our first applications are in finance and scientific research, with use cases ranging
from equity valuation and distress monitoring, to particle physics.
We’re looking for strong product software engineers to build and deliver end-to-end solutions, making our system production ready.
You’ll bring full stack expertise, contributing to development across the frontend (TypeScript+React), backend for frontend (tRPC
+ drizzle, postgres), and backend (Julia, Rust) of our application.
We're researching and developing entirely new kinds of interactive interfaces for analysts to collect, map out, synthesise, and
report on their discoveries. If you’re inspired to build novel technology for people, PlantingSpace will be a great fit for you.
We've found that our successful team members share some key characteristics, and as we've grown our team, these are the qualities
we've learned to seek out. We take pride in our strong, collaborative culture, and these core attributes not only reflect our
shared values, but can help you evaluate how well you might fit into our team:
entrepreneurial spirit and humility. Your sharp sense of prioritisation gives you a laser focus on delivering results that
uplift the entire team, moving us closer to our goal.
accountability for the results. You’re proactive, resourceful, and avoid over-complication - anticipating problems, even in
complex, uncertain environments.
explore the state-of-the-art, you dig deep to truly understand a problem, and question assumptions.
understood. You work efficiently, embracing an iterative approach that allows for frequent progress and course correction.
You’re open to direct feedback, adapting quickly and using it to improve both your work, and the performance of those around
you.

If you want meaningful work, visible impact and put something genuinely rare on your CV, keep reading. About the role: As a Senior Information Security Engineer (AppSec) at Camunda, you’ll join a small, senior, and highly collaborative InfoSec team that lives our FAITH values – Focus, Ambition, Integrity, Talent and Humor – every day. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our product and engineering teams across the entire SDLC to make sure our platform is designed, built, and shipped securely as we continue to grow. This is a technical, hands-on, developer-centric, developer-centric role where you’ll shape how we build secure Java services in a modern CI/CD, SaaS environment, strengthen our AppSec tooling and practices, and directly influence how customers trust and adopt Camunda. You can be based anywhere that allows you to collaborate effectively within CET to Eastern Time working hours. What you'll be doing: * Partner with engineering teams throughout the SDLC – from early design and architecture discussions, through implementation and testing, to deployment – to embed security by design in our products. * Lead and evolve our AppSec tooling and workflows by implementing, tuning, and integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, and container/image scanning into CI/CD pipelines, and making sure findings are actionable for developers. * Drive vulnerability management for our applications and supply chain, including triaging and prioritizing issues, coordinating with teams on fix/mitigate/accept decisions, and ensuring we continuously improve our security posture. * Perform secure design and architecture reviews and threat modeling for distributed, API- and microservices-based systems, helping teams understand security trade-offs and make sound, risk-based decisions. * Support and help coordinate application-layer security incidents and escalations, working closely with Engineering, Support, and other stakeholders to investigate, contain, and learn from issues. * Together with the rest of the InfoSec team, help with security audits, customer assurance, and other processes What you bring: * Ability and/or willingness to use our product. * Strong Software engineering and secure coding background, with substantial recent hands-on experience building and reviewing (Java) services, working in CI/CD environments, and shipping SaaS or other cloud-based applications securely. * Secure SDLC, architecture & risk assessment experience, including secure design reviews, threat modeling for distributed/API/microservices systems, and performing risk assessments on product changes or new features. * Vulnerability management & security tooling expertise, with a proven track record of implementing and tuning SAST/DAST/SCA and container/image scanning, evaluating and triaging findings (including false positives), and driving fix/mitigate/accept decisions with engineering teams. * Cross-team collaboration & communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with Engineering, Support, Sales, and other stakeholders while explaining complex security issues and trade-offs in a clear, pragmatic way to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Developer-centric, incident-savvy mindset, meaning you are comfortable managing and supporting security incidents and escalations, you see yourself as an enabler (not a gatekeeper), and you influence teams toward risk-based, practical security improvements. Nice-to-haves: * Experience developing in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript in addition to Java. * Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes- or container-based workloads and modern cloud environments. * Prior work in a B2B software company, especially in high-availability or multi-tenant contexts. * Experience running security training, talks, or workshops for engineering teams This role is an existing vacancy #LI-SG1 #LI-Remote #C1 What We Have to Offer: Compensation We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. FOUNDING PRODUCT ENGINEER BUILD THE FUTURE OF AUTONOMOUS COMPANIES At Twin, we're building a world where anyone can deploy AI agents capable of running real business operations. Not chatbots. Not copilots. Autonomous agents that take actions, make decisions, execute workflows, and create value. In just a few months, we've seen explosive adoption, thousands of users building businesses on top of Twin, and millions of agent actions executed. We're still at the beginning. We're looking for a Founding Product Engineer to help build the company that builds companies. THE ROLE This is not a traditional software engineering role. You won't receive tickets from a product manager. You won't spend months discussing roadmaps. You won't optimize a tiny corner of an existing system. You'll work directly with founders, users, and other builders to design, build, and ship product every day. You'll move across product, engineering, design, AI, infrastructure, and growth whenever needed. One day you might: * Build a new agent capability from scratch * Design an onboarding flow that doubles activation * Improve infrastructure supporting millions of executions * Talk directly with power users * Ship a feature in the morning and iterate on feedback the same afternoon * Use AI to prototype something in hours that would previously have taken weeks If that sounds exciting, keep reading. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for builders. People who create. People who ship. People who don't wait for permission. You might be a fit if: * You've built products people actually use * You've launched startups, side projects, open-source projects, or meaningful products * You think about users as much as technology * You enjoy turning ideas into reality extremely quickly * You thrive in ambiguity * You naturally take ownership * You care about product quality * You love learning AI-NATIVE ENGINEERING We believe the best engineers of the next decade will not be those who type the fastest. They will be those who can effectively direct, evaluate, and collaborate with AI. AI coding assistants should already be part of your daily workflow. Cursor. Claude Code. Codex. Or whatever tools help you move faster. You should be comfortable: * Pair-programming with AI * Generating and reviewing large amounts of AI-generated code * Using AI for debugging, prototyping, testing, and research * Building dramatically faster without compromising quality * Leveraging AI as a force multiplier The question is no longer: "Can you write the code?" The question is: "Can you use AI to build the right thing, verify it, and ship it?" STRONG SIGNALS These are not requirements, but they tend to correlate with success here: * Former founder * Early-stage startup experience * Open-source contributor * Exceptional side projects * Competitive programming background * Olympiad participant * Hacker mindset * Product obsession * Evidence of unusually fast learning WHAT WE VALUE OWNERSHIP You see a problem, you solve it. SPEED Fast iteration beats endless planning. JUDGMENT Good decisions scale better than good code. AMBITION We're building something that shouldn't be possible. CRAFT Fast doesn't mean sloppy. WHY TWIN? Most companies hire engineers to execute a roadmap. At Twin, you'll help define it. Most engineers optimize existing systems. At Twin, you'll help invent new ones. Most jobs offer impact on a feature. This one offers impact on the future of the company. IF YOU'VE EVER THOUGHT: "I wish I had joined earlier." This is one of those moments.
