WHAT IS THE ROLE We’re eager to welcome an outstanding Product Manager to join the Elastic Observability product team, with a focus on logs and logs analytics capabilities. With your knowledge and understanding of the Observability domain, you'll help ensure that we give our customers the best end to end full stack Observability experience for logs we collect from the applications and infrastructure we monitor. This role significantly impacts the success of our Observability product! WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING * Evolving our logs analytics capabilities, aligning at every step with organizational and company strategy. * Advancing and influencing the entire end-to-end lifecycle for logs collection, ingest, and management * Building features that cater to the modern SRE. From integrating GenAI and Agentic workflows into the logging experience, automated SLO/SLI tracking from logs, intelligent alerting, correlating logs, metrics, and traces, and beyond. * Working closely across teams, collaborating with Engineering, UX, Design and other teams to bring top notch application monitoring experiences to our users. * Working with our Sales & Marketing teams on go-to-market, messaging, competitive analysis, enablement, and feature adoption. * Tracking user engagement and feedback to inform product and feature evolution. WHAT YOU BRING  * Ideally 3+ years in product management or closely related area * Technical experience in logs analytics * Observability and/or performance monitoring domain knowledge * Comfort working with and converting abstract problems into concrete, prioritized solutions, working from the customer backwards * Outstanding spoken and written communication skills * Passion for industry trends, competitive landscape * Experience working in remote, globally distributed work environment is optional but desired * Knowledge of AI is optional but desired Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.   At Elastic, our compensation philosophy aims to provide fair, competitive and transparent remuneration. Salary ranges are established based on a combination of external market benchmarks, internal pay equity considerations, and the responsibilities and complexity associated with each role. This approach helps ensure consistency across comparable roles while remaining competitive within the relevant labour markets. The final compensation offered within the applicable range will be determined based on several objective factors, including relevant professional experience, level of skills and expertise, alignment with the role requirements, and the overall scope and complexity of the position. This role specifically focuses on human user onboarding and agents onboarding, directly influencing the successful growth of Elastic Cloud. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING * Define the vision and roadmap for self service cloud growth, encompassing: onboarding and trial experience, product features adoption and trial activation, customer interviews and churn analysis, product engagement analytics and email nurturing. * Partnering with engineering leads to prioritizing technical investments and establishing realistic delivery timelines. * Collaborate with downstream Elastic solution teams (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) to understand their specific onboarding flows and trial experience. * Drive technical decision-making regarding onboarding, activation, expansion and retention of self-service customers. * Interface with customers and trial users to gather feedback on trial experience. * Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on competitive positioning and brand awareness. * Drive native integrations with 3rd party developers platforms. WHAT YOU BRING  * 4+ years of Product Management experience with deep technical products. * Strong background and experience with Product Led Growth. * Demonstrated experience with self-service cloud services, having shipped products that provide self-service trials. * Data-driven approach to product decisions, with experience in product adoption and analysis. * Strong communication skills, capable of cross function collaborations and alignment. * Experience with globally distributed teams and asynchronous collaboration. BONUS POINTS * Direct experience with Elasticsearch or similar search/database technologies. * Background in product marketing. * Experience with cloud service providers marketplaces.
