ABOUT THE SECURITY & IT TEAM Trustly's Security & IT team protects the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of our systems and data globally — and is at the forefront of securing Trustly's AI-native transformation. As Trustly deploys LLMs, agentic systems, and MCP implementations across its engineering and product organization, the Security team plays a critical and novel role: ensuring these AI systems are built, deployed, and governed safely and in line with Trustly's risk posture. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Staff AI Enablement Security Engineer, you will be one of two senior security ICs specifically aligned to Trustly's AI transformation — focused on securing Claude, MCP implementations, and the broader agentic AI tooling that Trustly is deploying internally and within its products. You'll define the security standards and controls for AI systems, work hands-on with the AI Enablement team to assess and mitigate risk, and build the tooling and frameworks that allow Trustly to move fast with AI without compromising security.

We are looking for senior leaders such as yourselves to create the vision and define the strategy for this space.  The impact you will have: * Make Databricks safer for our customers by identifying and plugging key gaps in our infrastructure and services * Attract top talent from across the industry. * Represent the security engineering discipline throughout the organization, having a powerful voice to make us more data-driven * Represent Databricks at academic and industry conferences & events What we look for: * 5+ years of experience in Data Security or related areas  and expertise in two or more of the following--Cryptography, Kubernetes Security, Web Security, Governance, Privacy, Trust, Safety, Authentication, Identity Management, Access Control, Key Management, Inter-Service Authentication, Secure Application Frameworks, Detection & Response. Experience building systems at large scale internet companies is a huge plus. * 5+ years of experience building large scale distributed systems with high availability * Leadership skills and experience to lead across functional and organizational lines * Strong communication skills to explain and evangelize Data Security to senior leaders across the company * Bias to action and passion for delivering high-quality solutions * MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields     Pay Range Transparency Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE * Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, psychological safety, and high accountability. * Own the security engineering roadmap, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable risk reduction through effective prioritization. * Drive recruiting efforts to attract top-tier talent and establish clear, ambitious career paths for your team. * Champion a high-performance environment where security rigor acts as a catalyst for innovation rather than a bottleneck to velocity.  * Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to embed security requirements directly into system designs and development workflows. * Oversee complex design reviews, providing pragmatic guidance to ensure Asana’s infrastructure and features are inherently secure. * Champion a high-performance environment where security rigor acts as a catalyst for innovation rather than a bottleneck to velocity.  ABOUT YOU * 8+ years of experience in security or software engineering, including 3+ years of experience directly managing high-performing engineering teams. * A strong background in software engineering with the ability to participate in deep-dive design reviews and provide technical direction on architecture and code. * Deep understanding of modern security domains, including application security (OWASP), cloud-native architecture, and identity frameworks (OAuth, OIDC, SAML). * Hands-on experience with security controls and architecture within AWS or similar cloud environments at scale. * You excel at balancing security requirements with business needs, making risk-informed decisions, and communicating the "why" behind security mandates to diverse stakeholders. * You value automation over manual intervention and have a proven track record of shipping internal tools or services that improve security posture. * Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $264,000 - $300,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified. In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
