on the phone with potential clients to understand their needs, help them feel comfortable, position our firm as a solution to
their needs and sign them as new clients. While this is a sales position, there are no cold-calls required - you will be working
with clients who have reached out to us.

The PNW branch, headquartered in Seattle, WA has branches in Portland, OR and Spokane, WA and works with
clients throughout Washington and Oregon. Our intake team speaks with callers 7 days a week.

We are looking for an empathetic, sales-focused person who wants to help make a difference in people’s lives. Our clients are
often going through a very difficult time after injury or personal loss, so a good fit for this role would be someone who can
balance helping them see the value of the professional role the Advocates bring to their case while expressing a warm and
empathetic understanding of their situation.

Opportunity Overview: The Intake Specialist role is a key position supporting US healthcare operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient and provider requests. In this role, you will support healthcare providers, internal clinical teams, and operations teams by collecting, reviewing, and processing information required for healthcare services and prior authorization workflows. As an Intake Specialist, you will manage healthcare requests received through multiple channels including email, fax, and online platforms. You will be responsible for gathering required documentation, validating information, updating systems accurately, and ensuring requests are processed within defined turnaround times. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare operations environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BACK OFFICE INTAKE (FAX / EMAIL / DOCUMENTATION PROCESSING) * Process incoming healthcare requests received from US providers through fax, email, and electronic systems. * Review medical documentation for completeness and accuracy. * Validate required information needed for prior authorization and clinical review. * Enter and update patient, provider, and request details accurately in healthcare systems. * Identify missing information and coordinate with appropriate teams/providers for resolution. * Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and productivity. * Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information. * Meet turnaround time, quality, and productivity targets. * Support process improvements and operational initiatives. * Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow execution. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * 3 - 5 years customer service experience * Experience in US healthcare operations, medical billing, claims, or prior authorization. * Experience in healthcare BPO/KPO, payer/provider operations, or contact center environments. * Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices. * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to process healthcare information accurately. * Ability to analyze information and identify missing or incorrect data. * Comfortable working with multiple applications and healthcare systems. * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams. * Willingness to learn US healthcare processes and terminology. * Experience handling provider/customer calls. * Experience with healthcare documentation review. MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: * 3 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management — experience in professional services, consulting, or indirect categories within a fast-paced industry such as Technology, Digital Consultancy, or similar sectors. * Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, Finance, or related field preferred. * Demonstrated track record of leading sourcing events, managing supplier negotiations, and delivering measurable cost outcomes. * Strong commercial acumen — able to read, negotiate, and challenge contracts including professional services agreements, master supply agreements, and statements of work. * Experience managing stakeholder relationships in a complex, multi-country environment — able to influence without authority at senior levels. * Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building category structure where little or none exists. * Strong analytical skills — able to build a spend baseline, conduct market benchmarking, and build a business case for sourcing decisions. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. * Experience using LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate procurement deliverables. NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS * CIPS, CPM, or equivalent procurement certification is welcomed but not required. * Experience with procurement platforms /e-sourcing tools that incorporate AI is a plus.
