We are looking for a Staff Data Scientist for our Ads Delivery. You will shape the future of people-facing and business-facing
products we build at Pinterest. Your expertise in quantitative modeling, experimentation and algorithms will be utilized to solve

We are looking for a senior technical leader to drive the next generation of Conversion Measurement capabilities across Pinterest Ads. This is a highly cross-cutting individual contributor role for an engineer who can operate with both breadth and depth—shaping strategy, driving architecture, and delivering durable platforms and product capabilities across a broad range of measurement challenges. This role will partner with domain leads to tackle ambiguous, high-impact work spanning measurement foundations, identity and attribution signals, privacy-aware measurement, experimentation, lift and incrementality, conversion modeling, reporting quality, advertiser trust, and ecosystem integrations. We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead the backend architecture and implementation of a GenAI-powered Conversion Health agent, using Event Quality Scores and conversion data to proactively detect issues, recommend and automate fixes, and demonstrate measurable performance impact for advertisers. Role Overview: Coupang Ads is the advertising platform team within Coupang. We are a globally distributed team focused on delivering advertising solutions for those that sell products on our platform. This includes display, search, performance, brand and video ads offerings. Ads Analytics team maximizes revenue from Coupang advertising solutions and helps our user get value from ads. We are responsible for helping drive product strategy across entire ads business. We bring data together to generate actionable insights, answer complex business questions, and help us deepen our understanding of Customers. Our focus is on Coupang’s ads business on E-commerce as well as Eats app and we do this by analyzing KPI’s, analyzing the success of A/B and multivariate testing initiatives. Privacy Notice * Your personal information will be collected and managed by Coupang as stated in the Application Privacy Notice located below. https://www.coupang.jobs/en/privacy-policy/ Document Return Policy * This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act. * A job applicant, who has applied but not been finally selected for a position at Coupang (the “Company”), may request the Company to return his/her hiring documents submitted pursuant to the Fair Hiring Procedure Act. However, this will not apply where the hiring documents were submitted via the website of the Company or e-mail, or where the job applicant submitted those documents voluntarily without a request from the Company. In addition, if the hiring documents were destroyed due to a natural disaster or any other reasons not attributable to the Company, such documents will be deemed to have been returned to the job applicant. * A job applicant who wishes to request the return of his/her hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above should fill out a “Request for Return of Hiring Documents” [Annex Form No. 3 in the Enforcement Rule of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act] and submit the request to the Company (Coupang Recruiting Team, Tower 730, 570 Songpa-daero, Songpa-gu, Seoul). In such case, within fourteen (14) days from the date of identifying the receipt of the request, the Company will send the hiring documents to the job applicant’s designated address via registered mail. Please be informed that the job applicant is required to pay the postage on the registered mail. * In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all of his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. * Hiring may be restricted in case the legal qualifications required for hiring and work performance are not met.
