Our Singapore team partners with global pharmaceutical clients to enable them to solve marketing, brand, advertising and
communications problems through a mixture of innovative quantitative brand equity tracking market research techniques, as well as
other custom qualitative and quantitative methods.
The Singapore team works with global colleagues in Operations, Analytics and Data divisions. The global programs the team supports
involve highly innovative methods (including AI tools) and outputs for the clients, informing real-time strategic decision-making.
The programs are multi-year and cover multiple markets and therapy areas, with each therapy area having its own project team for
delivery. The central team focuses on coordinating resources, research materials, questionnaires and deliverables across each

About the team: Our Custom Research team partners with global pharmaceutical and biotech clients to enable them to solve marketing, brand, advertising and communications problems through a mixture of innovative qualitative and quantitative market research techniques. The team is not split into silos by client or therapy area, so you will be empowered to develop broad expertise across the healthcare landscape and will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of expert senior researchers and gain exposure to the full suite of research tools and techniques covered by the team. The Singapore team operates as an APAC hub, working alongside colleagues in our international offices in Europe and Asia. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with people from across the global business. Your primary role: * The purpose of this role is to partner with the existing Directors to help lead, plan and manage clients and projects, and to ensure the growth, development and management of the team * You will play a leading role in delivering a major quantitative brand tracking project for a regional client * To provide leadership direction and management expertise in terms of growing and sustaining the business through the development and execution of group strategies, product development and sales growth plans * Line management of midlevel staff * Involvement in talent acquisition and assessing potential new staff About You… Your skills and experience: * At least 7 years of experience in primary market research, including within the healthcare industry * Have significant experience in leading projects and client management * Capable business developer and relationship manager with new and existing clients * Expertise with both qualitative and quantitative research techniques * Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Japanese is highly desirable Ideal profile: * You are proactive, dedicated and enthusiastic, with a ‘can do’ attitude and approach * You demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as strengths in organisation and prioritisation * You are a collaborative team player who works well with colleagues * You communicate ideas and issues in an effective, straightforward fashion * You are highly motivated and want to seize opportunities to develop new skills and progress your career Life at Research Partnership: We love what we do and continuously strive for innovation and creativity. The role The Research Manager will independently and efficiently manage research projects and create complex analysis to meet client’s objectives, ensuring high levels of data quality and accuracy at all stages Key responsibilities * Works with wider project team to create research solutions for project proposals * Independently manages research projects through the field, prioritising quality at all stages. * Managing the scripting, translations and programming of quantitative CATI and CAWI surveys, via our third-party vendors; * Ensuring the delivery of accurate data tables and charts, in line with agreed data specifications * Successfully applying quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are completed to the high standards required; * Working with fieldwork suppliers and internal teams to ensure that research projects are delivered on/under budget. * As needed, support Research Ops Team to source and schedule qualitative interviews * Working with the wider project team and external statisticians to create complex analysis models. Presents analysis to clients as required * Independently manages complex, flagship or non-standard projects * Ensures appropriate project documentation and specs are shared with third-party suppliers * Collaborates with project team to progress project and share relevant updates * Proactively working towards team KPIs and personal career objectives. Supports with company objectives/initiatives * Supports with relationship management of third party fieldwork partners * Leads team initiatives and shares knowledge and updates with team and wider company * Proactively shares relevant knowledge with team members * Supports team members as required, including preparing analysis, managing relationships with third party fieldwork partners, training/mentoring of junior team members etc. * Contributes to regular news highlights * As required, may take on the Project Manager role, and manage clients through the whole project, or research stage of the project * As required, will lead on questionnaire design or analysis Required skills and experience * Managed research projects in a research agency or similar workplace and can demonstrate how they’ve contributed to achieving client objectives * 5 years minimum experience (minimum) * Technical tool proficiency: Decipher (or comparable survey tool) MS Office and G-Suite Personal Qualities * Good business communication and writing skills * Consistent team player * Shows initiative and flexibility to embrace new ways of working and tools * Is a positive, proactive and creative problem-solver * Identifies risks and asks for help to manage as needed * Constructively shares feedback on team or company * Reaches out for support from team or line manager, as needed, when encountering new issues or challenges What’s in it for you?
