This role is responsible for enabling advertisers and sellers to drive success on the Pinterest platform, through the adoption of priority products and the development of new / innovative best practices. The Sr. Performance Solutions Partner will closely partner with cross-functional leadership in sales, product, and engineering. This is a multi-faceted, fast-paced job in a start-up environment so flexibility, a data-driven mindset, a strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor are a must. The right candidate will be a strategic thought leader who is driven by learning and solving ambiguous problems, yet be able to be hands on to troubleshoot technical issues that is a revenue blocker to lower funnel revenue. The Performance Solutions team sits within the GTM Operations and Strategy organization. Performance Solutions delivers through strategic guidance, operational excellence and technical expertise to improve the effectiveness of advertising campaigns resulting in increased client ROI. We work to understand, innovate, and scale cross-functional workflows. We are responsible for measuring process impact, making our business more efficient with consistent execution while embarking on building the next generation of data-driven best practices. What you’ll do: * Become an expert at Pinterest campaign best practices and ads manager, enabling yourself to be your regions go to resource for performance related opportunities * Be the technical contact for sales to help activate lower funnel campaigns (ex. eCommerce, performance focused), inclusive of product, auction, and implementation knowledge * Enable and mobilize sellers to pitch new performance products alongside campaign strategy at scale, with a focus on products that involves performance automation * Analyze large amounts of ads manager and/or client MSOT data to strategize for the next performance opportunity * Be the performance guru to support pre-GA performance products on ensuring successful alpha and beta tests * Understand complex processes and products, distilling them down into a digestible format for a less technical audience * Lead and/or participate in global SME working groups to support pre-GA performance products and new technical integrations * Provide strategic thought leadership top tier clients to help enable new performance products and creating A/B testing learning agendas * Identify key issues facing our clients and advertisers, and develop proposed solutions on how Pinterest should solve them through systems, processes and / or people * Work with your region to adapt best practices to fit the market you are supporting, and relay that feedback to internal and external stakeholders * Apply AI assistants to structure complex, ambiguous performance questions, prototype hypotheses, and iterate on testing plans, while validating outputs against source-of-truth reporting. What we’re looking for: * 5+ years of relevant work experience within digital marketing, ad tech and ad operations * 3+ years of both client facing and hands-on experience in platform relating to ad tech, ad ops, and/or campaign management * 3+ years in performance marketing either at a tech vendor, agency, or in-house client side * Experience selling performance products and/or getting in-house buy-in adopt a performance product * Experience with tagging and tracking QA and support, and working with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript * Expertise in digital advertising and media sales including campaign optimization, analytical problem solving, sales facing experience, and product/platform knowledge * Technical foundation with relevant experience in Search/Shopping/Display/Social advertising technologies * Working knowledge of API implementation and benefits (ex. Conversion API) * Expert knowledge of web analytics and e-commerce strategies to drive retail business (but not excluding other priority verticals as defined by the market) * A structured and detail-oriented thinker. The Sr. Client Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value clients, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong client relationships.
