JOB PURPOSE This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway. We are looking for a Cloud Engineer who can build the best cloud platforms for our clients and project teams and can maintain our existing solutions in the smartest way possible. Someone who can switch gears quickly and knows how to come up with automatic workflows to help our teams to accelerate in their work.  As a Cloud Engineer, you search together with your colleagues for the best solutions which you independently translate to the perfect end result. You are responsible for building next level cloud platforms and setting up CI/CD pipelines. You work closely with your SRE colleagues to handover the operations to them. You know how to create long-term simplicity and automate everything so your team can deliver quality to our clients. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Lead the infrastructure implementation/migration process from sprint 0 to go-live; * Collaborate to support a smooth integration and long-term operational efficiency; * Ensure best practices are established and deliver high quality work; * Collaborate effectively with our clients teams, including developers questions, to facilitate cross-team communication and ensure a seamless transition; * Troubleshoot and solve technical issues that may arise during the implementation/migration; WHAT YOU BRING * Previous experience as a Cloud Engineer (or similar role);  * Multi-cloud platform experience (Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or GCP);  * Experience with DevOps tooling for CI/CD, orchestration and monitoring like Azure DevOps, GitHub, Datadog, Cloudflare etc.; * Understanding of Cloud Security & Networking; * Experience with Infra-As-Code (i.e. Terraform); * The ability & ambition to take ownership of your projects; * Working proficiency in English;  WE OFFER * Great benefits that vary based on the country from which you choose to apply. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of our SDK - the core component integrated into partner websites. This SDK manages communication with CMPs (Consent Management Platforms) and our stack, ensuring privacy compliance, performance, and reliability at scale. You’ll be responsible for evolving the SDK into a high-performance, secure, and extensible framework that can: * Integrate with additional CMPs * Unlock access to premium content models * Potentially detect and block 3rd-party requests, ads, and trackers  This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of web performance, browser internals, and privacy technology - someone who takes pride in writing elegant, efficient, and secure TypeScript code. What You'll Do * Own the design, development, and evolution of our web SDK used across publisher integrations. * Ensure high performance, reliability and scalability for billions of monthly impressions. * Work closely with the whole engineering and product teams to extend SDK functionality for new CMPs and features. * Debug complex browser and integration issues across different environments. * Champion best practices for security, maintainability and developer experience. * Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineers and stakeholders to ship improvements quickly. Operating at the heart of an enterprise-grade product team, you will be the technical conscience of your squad — owning code quality, driving architecture decisions, and delivering robust CRM solutions that power boutique retail operations, omnichannel clienteling, and luxury client experiences across 5 continents. Development & Code Quality: * Implement clean, well-tested Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and platform-native code with full automated unit test coverage (TDD standard). * Implement the technical part of automated business and regression tests. * Lead structured code reviews and pair programming sessions; enforce software craftsmanship standards across the squad. * Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines; automate testing, deployment, and delivery processes. * Manage and reduce technical debt; maintain backlog items for long-term platform stability.   Run Activities (30% of Capacity):  * Act as Level 3 expert in the incident management chain — diagnose, fix, and document production bugs under SLA. * Handle corrective maintenance: analyse incidents, apply fixes, perform unit tests, and deliver updated documentation. * Drive minor change requests from analysis → specification → development → UAT support → delivery.  * Execute validated data retrieval requests from Salesforce production environments. * Contribute to knowledge base maintenance and continuous improvement of support procedures. Build Activities (70% of Capacity): * Deliver complete project solutions (code + tests + documentation) aligned to specifications and quality standards. * Participate actively in roadmap elaboration, effort estimation, and sprint planning. * Mentor junior and intermediate developers; bring the team toward technical excellence and autonomy. * Draft and maintain high-quality technical documentation, architecture decision records, and solution design docs. * Collaborate with the broader Salesforce developer community within the organisation to enforce code and delivery standards. Agile & Collaboration:  * Attend and actively contribute to SAFe ceremonies: Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and PI Planning. * Collaborate closely with Paris-based product teams with near-real-time business hours overlap (08:30–18:30 CET). * Raise and track technical debt in JIRA; log incidents and demands in ServiceNow. * Proactively identify automation and AI-augmentation opportunities and surface them to the Factory Manager.   Required Skills & Qualifications Salesforce Technical Expertise:  * 6–8 years of confirmed hands-on Salesforce platform development experience. * Deep expertise in Apex (triggers, batch jobs, async patterns) and Lightning Web Components (LWC). * Proficient with Salesforce declarative tools: Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Permission Sets. * SOQL/SOSL query optimisation and governor limits mastery. * Salesforce DX (SFDX), VS Code Salesforce Extensions, and Git-based development workflows. * CI/CD tooling for Salesforce: Copado, Gearset, or equivalent deployment pipeline tools. * Strong Test Driven Development (TDD) discipline with high unit test coverage standards. * Integration patterns: REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture. Engineering Practices:  * Code review leadership — ability to set and enforce coding standards across a multi-developer squad. * Pair programming culture — comfortable both leading and participating. * Technical documentation: architecture decision records, solution design docs, and operational runbooks. * Agile / SAFe methodology: PI Planning, Sprint cadences, and Backlog management experience.
