The objective of this program is to transform our organization and processes in all European countries with new common platform enabler. We now enter a new phase to manage the roll-out in the different countries as we already have some countries live to support in the business-as-usual mode. Our goal is to leverage and centralize applications at the European level. To support this strategy, the Business Application IT team operates as a product‑oriented IT organization. Delivery is structured around: * Product Domains, accountable for product development and functional value. * Roll-out Projects, responsible for large-scale, multi-country deployments and product implementation. The Architecture tam acts as the design authority and architectural backbone for business application, ensuring coherence, consistency and sustainability of the European target IT architecture. The mission of the Architect within the Centre of Excellence is to translate business strategy into a coherent, secure and scalable IT architecture, supporting multi‑country roll‑outs while managing complexity and technical debt. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect who can operate effectively in a complex, multicultural environment. In this role, you will be responsible for: * Defining and maintain European target architecture. * Governing all Architecture decisions for European application. You will manage a team of 4 people for the moment including Business architect, PMO support, Solution Architect for 2 main products Oracle and WFM. You will coordinate and manage additional external consultants depending of the roadmap management. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Responsibilities Architecture Governance & Design Authority * Act as the design authority for Business Applications within the North Star scope. * Provide architectural direction and decision support to Product Domains and country roll‑out initiatives. * Review and validate major application, integration, and platform design decisions. * Ensure adherence to European and Group Enterprise Architecture principles, standards, and guardrails. Data & Integration Architecture * Contribute to the definition and evolution of the enterprise data model. * Ensure coherence and robustness of data flows, integrations, and master data management. * Support end‑to‑end business process mapping from an architectural perspective. Collaboration & Ways of Working * Work closely with Program Management, Product Owners, Service Delivery, and AMS partners and business. * Contribute to the development of architecture standards, methods, and best practices. * Actively support the maturity of architectural ways of working across the organization. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. * 10–15 years of IT experience. * Strong background in enterprise, application, and integration architecture. * Experience with large, multi‑year, multi‑country transformation programs. * Strong understanding of back‑office systems (ERP, Finance, HR, Workforce Management) and digitalisation. * Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF – LeanIX is a plus). * Structured, pragmatic, and decisive approach. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic project environments. * Experience working in matrix organizations and with virtual teams. * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and execute effectively. * Strong people management and leadership skills. * Fluency in English. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Working conditions This role is open for candidates based in Europe. The IT Operations team is currently scaling our responsibilities and operations. While Storytel’s core IT landscape is primarily built around Google Workspace and macOS, we are in an exciting phase where we are taking over the IT responsibility for companies within the group that mainly operate on Microsoft 365. We are looking for this role to act as the technical bridge for this expansion, which brings an exciting increase in technical complexity, multi-tenant environments, and global reach. In this role, you will step into a vital and highly versatile position. While your primary focus will be acting as our internal driver for MDM and Microsoft 365 governance, this is a broad role where you will manage and work across a wide array of different systems, applications, processes, and projects. Simultaneously, you will remain hands-on, supporting the team in daily operations and taking ownership of Workplace IT. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES * MDM Evolution & Management: Take ownership of managing and developing our device management across our hybrid device fleet with Microsoft Intune and Jamf. You will architect, build, and maintain secure device configurations while also focusing on creating a great user experience with a distinct Storytel look and feel across all endpoints. * M365 & Identity Governance: Architect, configure, and manage our Microsoft 365 environments within a complex multi-tenant structure. These environments are tightly integrated with Okta as part of an advanced identity architecture, utilizing HRiS as a Source * SaaS System Administration: Daily administration, user lifecycle management, and optimization of various SaaS systems used and provided across the group. * IT Projects & Continuous Improvement: Actively lead and execute various internal IT projects. You will be a driving force behind onboarding new group environments and constantly leveling up our technical setup. * Vendor Management & Procurement: Manage relationships and contracts with external IT vendors, hardware suppliers, and SaaS providers. You will oversee software licensing, optimize procurement processes, and ensure we partner with the right external stakeholders. Operational & Workplace Responsibilities * Office & AV technology: Driving the continuous improvement and development of our office technology and meeting rooms, while overseeing daily operations and support * IT-Equipment Management: Managing IT equipment lifecycle operations (procurement, inventory logistics, and on/offboarding setups) for a device fleet consisting primarily of MacBooks, alongside an increasing number of Windows devices. * Daily IT-support: Handling a broad variety of daily support requests from our end-users, both on-site and remote. Ranging from complex technical troubleshooting to routine, autopilot tasks REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS * Technical Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience working within IT operations, modern workplace management, or system administration. * MDM & M365 Expertise: Proven experience configuring and administering Microsoft Intune (device configuration, compliance policies, deployment) and managing Microsoft 365 environments. Experience with multi-tenant setups is a major plus. * Hands-on IT Support: Solid experience handling day-to-day workplace IT, end-user support, and hardware lifecycle management. * Advanced Workstation & OS Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of both Windows and macOS ecosystems, naturally becoming the go-to person in the team for anything related to computer management and troubleshooting. * Bonus Platform Knowledge: Experience with Okta, Google Workspace and Jamf is a strong advantage. * Language: Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
