Description/Purpose
To support excellent education for primary school students from early years through grade 5. Working hours 40 hours per week, excluding half an hour lunch break.
Duties/Responsibilities
Classroom Responsibilities (8.30-15.30)
Provide instructional support for the classroom teacher.
Encourage student engagement and participation.
Offer help and individual attention to students who need support.
Lead small group discussions and/or activities.
Give feedback to the classroom teacher regarding students' learning.
Assist in keeping the general class organized.
Be an active and contributing member of the School Faculty.
Actively contribute to the operational needs of the school.
To undertake duties as required, including before-school and end-of-day duties, break duties, lunch support, and additional support in other year groups as required.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Substitute for the class teacher when the teacher is not in school (Remunerated with the initial teacher salary rate for those hours).
After-School Care / After-School Activities Duties 15:30-16:30/17:30
Encourage student engagement and participation.
Offer help and individual attention to students in need.

Assist in keeping the general classroom environment in order.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Other Duties
Greeting students and parents as they arrive at school.
Monitoring students and ensuring their safety.
Escorting students into the school in the crosswalk.
Ensuring corridors are calm and students are in the correct location.
Break/Lunch Duties
Collecting students from the corridor, as required.
Monitoring students and ensuring their safety.
Helping the play leaders with their duties, as required.
Ensuring students exit the building calmly and quietly.
Ensuring students return to class promptly.
Traffic Duties
Monitoring traffic flow and keeping the crossing paths clear of parked vehicles.
Ensuring students exit the building calmly and aid them in crossing the road safely.
Greeting students and parents as they leave school.

Reports to: Advancement Director Purpose: The Admissions Coordinator plays a key role in creating an outstanding first impression of Stockholm International School. As the primary point of contact for many prospective families, the Admissions Coordinator provides a welcoming, responsive and professional admissions experience, guiding families from initial enquiry through to enrolment. Working closely with colleagues across the school, the role coordinates the day-to-day admissions process, ensuring enquiries and applications are managed efficiently, accurately and with exceptional attention to detail. The Admissions Coordinator contributes to the school's enrolment objectives by delivering a consistently high standard of customer service while maintaining accurate admissions records and supporting the smooth operation of the admissions function. Key areas of responsibility Family experience Act as the primary point of contact for assigned prospective families throughout the admissions process. Build positive, professional relationships with families, providing timely, accurate and personalised support. Conduct school tours and present the school in a warm, engaging and professional manner. Respond to enquiries promptly and ensure every interaction reflects the school's values and commitment to exceptional service. Admissions coordination Coordinate enquiries and applications from initial enquiry through to enrolment. Ensure applications are complete and all required documentation has been received. Coordinate admissions assessments and liaise with relevant academic colleagues throughout the review process. Communicate admissions decisions and next steps to families following established school procedures. Support enrolment activities to ensure a smooth transition for new students and their families. Admissions systems and administration Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the school's admissions and CRM systems. Ensure applicant information is complete, accurate and maintained to a high standard. Prepare routine admissions documentation and correspondence. Prepare and issue admissions, enrolment and student documentation, including enrolment confirmations, transcripts, certificates and other official documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Contribute to the effective administration of the admissions function. Collaboration Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to ensure an excellent experience for prospective and newly enrolled families. About the role In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening SSE's global visibility and attracting talented students from around the world. You will develop and execute marketing and recruitment initiatives for our Bachelor programs, with a primary focus on international markets. The position combines strategic planning, market analysis, relationship management, and hands-on execution of recruitment and marketing activities.
