We are a pioneering studio based in Stockholm, working at the intersection of design, art, and technology. Our kinetic
installations, including A million Times and ClockClock, have found audiences around the world. Among our collectors are
institutions such as the Vitra Design Museum, companies including OpenAI, as well as global thought leaders across business and
culture.
Our work is guided by a simple idea: “Form follows fascination.” Curiosity is where every project begins. While the outcomes often
take the form of physical objects, we approach them dramaturgically, arranging anticipation, surprise, and resolution.

Culture at Humans since 1982
At Humans since 1982, we work in a small but distinctive field where design, art, and engineering meet. Our studio creates
collectible pieces that require patience, precision, and a genuine fascination for how things work, unfold and surprise over time.
We are a curious and collaborative team. Everyone in the studio is trusted to take ownership of their work, think independently,
and contribute ideas beyond their immediate role. At the same time, our projects are collective efforts, built through dialogue,
shared curiosity, and a respect for each other’s craft.
The studio still operates with an entrepreneurial spirit. We are flexible and move quickly when ideas take shape, but we also
recognise that meaningful work takes care and attention. As we continue our journey, every person in the team helps shape not only
the work we create, but the culture of the studio.
