In Sportsbook we work in a high-volume, real-time environment, integrating data feeds with our modern trading system and transactional betting platform (UI/Backend). Your contributions will cover maintaining/expanding our current Betting/Trading services as well as building new services and capabilities for our users. As a key member of our team, you’ll collaborate effectively while also demonstrating initiative and a passion for sharing innovative ideas. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: ● Taking ownership, problem-solving and collaborating with other teams. ● Designing and implementing from idea to production. ● Building for scale, availability, performance and security across the stack. ● Working with product managers, architects, QA engineers and other developers in a highly collaborative agile environment. ● Integrating new products and building internal services to support our ecosystem. ● Conducting code reviews and mentoring team members. ● Ensuring services are production-ready, observable, and maintainable through monitoring, alerting, and on-call participation. OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: ● 6+ Years of software development experience with Java, Spring Boot and Event-Driven Architectures. ● Experience designing microservices, K8s, containerization (Docker) and Kafka messaging systems. ● Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and caching. ● Implementing resilience patterns (e.g., retries, circuit breakers, graceful degradation). ● Designing and maintaining monitoring dashboards (e.g., metrics, logs, traces) and alerts to proactively detect issues. ● Hands-on experience developing highly scalable RESTful end-to-end microservices. NICE TO HAVES: ● Familiarity with Reactive Programming (e.g. RxJava) and Vert.x would be a big plus. ● Experience in platforms like AWS and Google Cloud Platform. ● Online gaming and gambling experience WHO WE ARE At the core of LeoVegas Group is Team Leo. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full stack, influence architecture, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions within the Anti-Money Laundering domain in a fast-moving RegTech environment.  About Verified Verified started with solutions for electronic signing, identity verification, and contract management. In close collaboration with its customers, the company has since evolved into a RegTech provider of digital workflows for Anti-Money Laundering and supplier due diligence. About the role and the team As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in the AML domain, you will play a key role in building and evolving Verified’s cloud platform for secure and scalable trust services. You will work across both frontend and backend services running in AWS, contributing to systems that support critical compliance workflows. You will join a high-autonomy, cross-functional team where ownership is shared and the full lifecycle of core services is handled collectively. The team is responsible for designing, building, deploying, and operating services end-to-end, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and time-to-market. Working in an agile environment, you will collaborate closely with product owners, designers, QA, and other engineers to deliver robust and high-quality solutions. Key responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based systems in AWS Build and evolve REST APIs and modern web applications Contribute to architecture and technical decisions Improve scalability by decoupling dependencies and reducing time-to-market Integrate AI capabilities such as AI agents and RAG into products and workflows Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues Drive engineering quality through code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and best practices Contribute to continuous improvement in architecture and engineering practices About you We believe you are a self-driven fullstack engineer who thrives in high-autonomy environments where you take end-to-end ownership of complex systems. You are comfortable working across the stack in modern cloud-based SaaS products and enjoy building scalable and secure solutions with real business impact. You are curious about how modern technologies, including AI, can be applied both in products and across the development lifecycle. You are comfortable working with technical trade-offs and contributing to improvements in system design, performance, and developer experience. To succeed in this role, we believe you likely bring: 10+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer in cloud-based SaaS environments Strong experience working with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js Experience building REST APIs and API-first or distributed systems Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Good understanding of system design, security, and modern application architecture Experience or interest in working with AI tools in development workflows Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken It is a plus if you also have experience from FinTech/RegTech or other regulated environments, as well as experience integrating third-party data sources.
