Modern autonomous system development is heavily reliant on daily, realistic, and large scale simulations to test constant software
changes. Join our cloud platform team to ensure we're building efficient and reliable systems for managing these large-scale
workloads.
As a cloud infrastructure engineer you'll be improving the development and deployment of our large-scale simulation
infrastructure. The compute and data generation scale of our product workloads pushes the boundaries of standard cluster
deployments, and you'll be at the forefront of helping build out and ensure reliability of this system. All while ensuring the
deployment infrastructure is interoperable with various custom autonomy software and infrastructure used across the world.
You will work closely across the entirety of the engineering team to ensure the operational success of our backend and a variety

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Software Engineer - Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates at Applied Intuition, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge remote software update systems that enable seamless deployment of firmware, applications, and configuration updates to connected devices at scale. You will work on sophisticated OTA platforms that combine secure delivery mechanisms, cloud infrastructure, and device management to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient software updates across distributed device fleets. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the rapidly growing OTA market, building scalable update systems that handle millions of devices and support mission-critical applications across various industries. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Backend Software Engineer on the Remote Assistance team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core services and infrastructure that power our remote assistance platform. Your work will involve creating the APIs, data pipelines, and backend systems that handle real-time data streaming, command processing, and communication with both the autonomous vehicles and the human operator workstations. This is a high-impact role where you will be instrumental in making autonomous trucking a reality by ensuring a reliable and scalable backend. AT APPLIED INTUITION, YOU WILL: * Design, develop, and deploy scalable, low-latency backend services for remote assist session management and real-time data streaming. * Architect and implement the cloud infrastructure for remote assistance including technologies like protobuf, gRPC across multiple AWS regions. * Design and implement the service data persistence layer using no sql databases like Redis * Implement data pipelines to ingest, process, and store real-time data from autonomous vehicles. * Collaborate closely with onboard software teams and front-end engineers to ensure seamless end-to-end data flow. * Ensure the security, reliability, and resilience of the backend platform, including handling network disruptions and failover. * Optimize data serialization and transmission to minimize latency and bandwidth usage on the server side. WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * 2+ years of professional experience in web services software development and cloud infrastructure. * Strong proficiency in a backend programming language such as Go and Python. * Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and building scalable backend applications. * Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, GCP or OCI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). * Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis). ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly focused Cloud Security Engineer whose role will be fundamentally driven by our environment architecture and deployment methodology. Working alongside our Corporate Security & Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in securing our infrastructure across diverse multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), with a heavy emphasis on Kubernetes cluster hardening. You will establish robust guardrails, enforce Identity and Access Management policies, and maintain our Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) to prevent insecure deployments and ensure continuous compliance. AT APPLIED INTUITION, YOU WILL: * Cloud Infrastructure Security: Securely deploy and maintain infrastructure across diverse multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), establishing cloud-specific robust guardrails to prevent insecure deployments and configurations. * Kubernetes Cluster Hardening: Implement and enforce security best practices and policies specifically tailored for Cloud native Kubernetes clusters, including granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), network policies, and admission controllers. * Identity & Access Management (IAM): Develop, implement, and enforce robust security policies and procedures specifically related to user authentication and authorization across all systems. Manage user identities (traditional active directory, email platforms, cloud solutions) and rigorously enforce the principle of least privilege on Cloud, cloud service, and container levels. * Container Security: Ensure the security of container images, registries, and runtime environments through the effective use of tools like Docker, Podman, and various container scanning solutions. * Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Security: Manage infrastructure and security policies through version-controlled Git repositories using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK to ensure consistent, auditable, and secure deployments. * Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM): Maintain CSPM tools such as Wiz to continuously detect and remediate misconfigurations and compliance drifts across the cloud footprint. * Compliance Automation: Automate compliance checks and generate necessary evidence for audits across the multi-cloud environment, streamlining regulatory adherence. * Runtime Security: Monitor and protect running applications and containers from threats during their operational lifecycle.
