Your tasks
. Install bespoke joinery and interior solutions

We are looking for someone who
. Has experience with joinery installation or finish carpentry
. Can read technical drawings
. Uses hand tools and woodworking machines confidently
. Works carefully, responsibly, and independently
. Has a Category B driving licence

Careys are recruiting experienced Formwork Carpenters / Shuttering Joiners to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Sheffield (S9). You will support the construction of reinforced concrete structures including foundations, retaining walls, slabs, columns and associated civils works.
We are looking for Carpenters / Joiners for a construction project in Boden, Sweden. Contract and package Contract: 10 months, with possible extension Accommodation: Provided on site Flights: Covered PPE/EPI: Covered Salary: Hourly wage, based on hours worked Role The Carpenter / Joiner will work under the responsibility of the Site Manager or Team Leader and will carry out carpentry, woodwork and interior fitting tasks according to site instructions, drawings, safety rules and quality requirements. Main tasks Read and follow instructions, drawings and work plans. Check that materials, tools and equipment are suitable for the work. Maintain and check tools, equipment and completed installations. Keep the workstation clean and organized. Follow health, safety, quality and environmental rules. Report any issues, defects or dangerous situations. Shape and prepare wooden parts for construction or interior fitting. Install partitions, linings and false ceilings. Carry out insulation and interior fitting works. Create or adapt carpentry installations. Restore existing wooden structures when needed. Check the quality of completed work. Requirements Training in carpentry, woodwork, construction or interior fitting is desirable. CAP/BEP, BAC or equivalent qualification is desirable. Beginner or experienced profiles can be considered. Ability to read drawings and follow site instructions. Good awareness of safety and PPE rules. Basic English or French is required.

We are looking for Experienced Carpenter / Finsnickare to support Candela’s future growth ambitions. Your core responsibilities will include: Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design plans to build custom cabinets and furniture for the interior of our boats Measure, cut, shape, and assemble Composite parts, and other materials. Operate and maintain machinery such as saws, routers, jointers, and planers. Install completed Interior panels on-site according to project specifications and client expectations. Ensure precision, quality, and attention to detail. Collaborate with designers, managers, to meet project timelines and quality standards. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. What are we looking for? We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter / Finsnickare with hands-on experience in designing, constructing, and installing high-quality custom cabinetry and interior panels. The ideal candidate should be proficient in working with a variety of materials, reading technical drawings, and operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently. Requirements: At least 1-2 years of experience as a carpenter / finsnickare ideally working on detailed interiors – if you have experience within boating, bus, train or special vehicles interiors (caravans, service/emergency vehicles) it will be a huge advantage! Be able to communicate in English as it is required in your daily work Knowledge of joinery techniques, and finishing methods. Proficiency with hand tools and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop plans. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods. It would be preferred if you: Certification in carpentry or cabinet making (optional but advantageous). Experience with CNC machinery or CAD software is a plus.
