service and support, installation, configuration, and problem resolution in a PC/network/infrastructure environment. You will

departure, traveling during off-hours, and frequent overnight stays) Retail and Point of Sale experience Server and Network rack
and stack and connectivity Familiarity with standard Windows O/S and Office suites. Apple iOS knowledge Ability to thoroughly and
accurately perform inventory and asset recording and complete paperwork as required by customer, including vendor warranties.
Ability to perform final configuration tasks on customer premises. 5+ years’ experience with desktop/laptop hardware. 5+ years’
experience with structure cabling. Digital Signage experience desired Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Position Description Title: Field Service Technician Department: Field Services Immediate Supervisor: Field Service Manager Status: Non-Exempt Hourly Position Purpose The Field Service Technician is responsible for maintenance and repairs on IPG products within the assigned location and to assure continuity of customer operations. The employee will have ownership of all customer problems and/or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customer’s satisfaction and/or in compliance with agreed upon Service Agreements. Principle Accountabilities * This position is required to be knowledgeable with IPG products, features, functionalities, capabilities, and distribution channels and be capable of effectively communicating the IPG value to our customers. * Perform on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, service tasks and conduct product demonstrations when required. Provide maintenance support and training to in-house maintenance staff. * Establish a regular Preventive Maintenance program for existing end user accounts. * Assist in testing and evaluating new products and custom packaging equipment. Record and report faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences. * Follow established communication procedures – issue RMA’s, prepare and submit work orders, expense reports, trip reports, etc. * Software upgrades to WAT units when required. * Support Senior Technician onsite with other service needs as required. * Performs other duties as assigned. Job Title: Senior Field Service Technician Location: Greater San Francisco or Greater Sacramento Summary of Job Reporting to the Field Services Manager/Supervisor, the Senior Field Service Technician’s primary function is the installation, repair, maintenance and management of both Sharp and Pregis Packaging Systems/Equipment, with a predominate focus on Pregis’ automation equipment. In addition to assisting with the equipment needs of their customers, it is the responsibility of Pregis Senior Field Service Technicians to effectively communicate with both external customers and internal stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, and Service) about technical and non-technical information. This job is fully remote and based out of your assigned territory or regional area. Daily local and remote travel Monday to Friday to customer sites. Overtime as required. Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Ensures high-quality service by minimizing errors, preventing equipment damage, and reducing customer callbacks and dissatisfaction. * Performs inspections and advises customers on methods to minimize downtime and operational interruptions. * Coordinates complex equipment installations and ensures proper system functionality through customer follow-up. * Serves as technical expert on assigned products, resolving complex issues and maintaining deep knowledge of functions and applications. * Trains, mentors, and supports customers and field service staff in advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving. * Analyzes equipment performance and executes debugging and correction of operating procedures. * Supports field testing of new products, updates, and change orders, including performance analysis and reporting. * Prepares accurate and complete service documentation, reports, and required paperwork. * Manages and maintains control of parts and service tool inventory with accurate recordkeeping. Education and Experience * Associate degree with a strong mechanical-electrical background (Preferred) * 5+ years of experience in field service, assembler, or factory service engineering roles; or hands-on work experience in field service or related technical environments. * Electro-mechanical skills and ability to read blueprints/manuals/electrical schematics * Strong electrical troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance skills. Preferable experience with HMIs, PLCs and vision systems * Excellent communication skills paired with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external customers at all levels * Ability to work successfully with little to no direct supervision * Effective time management and cost control skills Job Requirements * A clean driving record is required (company car is provided) * Availability to travel daily Monday to Friday within assigned territory * Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs * Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. * Walking extended distances * Standing for extended times up to 75% of the day * This role requires up to 75% travel Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis’ total compensation package. The base pay range for this role - which does not include overtime, bonus, or company vehicle - is estimated to be $80,000 to $85,000, depending on experience and skills.
