OUR MISSION At Electrogenos, we’re building technology to make green hydrogen competitive at scale. We focus on reducing the cost and complexity of hydrogen production so it can replace fossil-based alternatives across real-world applications. We’re an early-stage team working at the intersection of electrochemistry, manufacturing, and deployment. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a practical junior engineer to help us build, commission, and test electrolysers. You will be in the workshop and lab from day one, working alongside senior engineers on stack assembly, rig commissioning, fault-finding, and live test campaigns. You do not need prior electrolyser experience. We will teach you the electrochemistry and the process side, including hot caustic handling, hydrogen and oxygen safety, and commissioning procedures. In return you will gain broad hands-on experience across mechanical build, thermo-fluid systems, instrumentation, and controls, plus a genuine foot in the door of the UK hydrogen industry. TASKS * Assemble electrolyser stacks and test rigs: torque sequences, sealing, leak checks * Run experimental campaigns: performance characterisation, durability testing, component trials * Record test data and keep clean test logs * Support pressure testing, commissioning, and fault-finding * Build test fixtures and sub-assemblies * Plumbing and pipework: cutting, bending, fitting tubing, compression fittings, valves * Fit and route instrumentation: thermocouples, pressure transducers, flow meters, level sensors * Trace faults across mechanical, fluid, and electrical systems * Workshop inventory tracking: consumables, spares, long-lead items * Source parts, raise purchase requests, chase suppliers * Write and update test procedures, risk assessments, and as-built drawings * Work safely around hot caustic, pressurised systems, and flammable gases ESSENTIAL SKILLS * Engineering degree (mechanical, automotive, aerospace, chemical, mechatronic), HNC/HND, or hands-on background as a machinist, technician, or fitter * Confident with hand and power tools, basic machining, and measurement kit * Solid engineering fundamentals * Basic instrumentation literacy: pressure, temperature, flow, level * Safety-first approach * Writes clearly and takes notes without being asked * Proactive and flexibility in a fast moving environment * Problem solving and independent research skills DESIRABLE SKILLS * Compression fittings (Swagelok, Schwer) or general pipework * Able to read P&IDs and GA drawings * Pressurised gas or liquid systems * DAQ or programming (LabVIEW, Python) * Hazardous fluid handling or ATEX awareness * CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape, or similar) * Interest in hydrogen, fuel cells, or clean energy * Full UK driving licence YOUR PROFILE You’re practical, curious, and want to build things. Maybe a recent graduate who spent more time in the workshop than the lecture hall, or a technician looking to move into R&D. You don’t need to know anything about electrolysers — we’ll teach you. What matters is that you pick up a tool before being asked and take ownership of what lands on your bench. WHY US? * Broad hands-on experience across mechanical build, instrumentation, and test engineering * Experienced engineers who will invest in your development * A genuine foot in the door of the UK hydrogen industry * Small team where you see the impact of your work immediately * Competitive salary and benefits
About Us At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company. At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a "normalized" problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in. Available Locations: Austin, TX About the role Cloudforce One is Cloudflare's threat operations and research team, responsible for identifying and disrupting cyber threats ranging from sophisticated cyber criminal activity to nation-state sponsored advanced persistent threats (APTs). Cloudforce One works in close partnership with external organizations and internal Cloudflare teams, continuously developing operational tradecraft and expanding ever-growing sources of threat intelligence to enable expedited threat hunting and remediation. Members of Cloudforce One are at the helm of leveraging an incredibly vast and varied set of data points that only one of the world's largest global networks can provide. The team is able to analyze these unique data points, at massive scale and efficiency, synthesizing findings into actionable threat intelligence to better protect our customers. Cloudflare's Trust & Safety team is the frontline defense against platform abuse — phishing, malware distribution, fraud, and content that undermines the safety of the internet. Together, these teams form a unified capability: from tracking an adversary's infrastructure to dismantling it at network scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO Cloudflare is a system spanning the globe, on a mission to make the internet better, safer, and more powerful every day. We are looking for a Principal Engineer who is equal parts architect, threat analyst, and disruptor — someone who doesn't just build systems but fundamentally rethinks how we detect, analyze, and neutralize threats across one of the world's largest networks. This is not a role that lives in a single team or a single codebase. You will operate across the full breadth of Cloudflare Products, diving into whatever problem is most critical — whether that's redesigning a detection pipeline in Kubernetes, deploying a new mitigation capability at the edge via Workers, building agentic AI workflows that automate analyst tradecraft, or architecting a data system that processes trillions of signals per day. You will be the person teams turn to when the problem is ambiguous, the architecture is complex, and the adversary is sophisticated. Our ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in distributed systems architecture and an equally deep understanding of how threat actors operate — their tactics, techniques, procedures, and infrastructure. You think like an attacker and build like an engineer who has been burned by production incidents at 3 AM. You are energized by hard problems, impatient with the status quo, and have a track record of shipping solutions that others said couldn't be done. This role may require flexibility to be on-call outside of standard working hours to address technical issues as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES * Drive architectural direction and technical strategy across Cloudforce One engineering, spanning services that run in Kubernetes, on the edge (Workers, D1), and across Cloudflare's global network. * Identify and dismantle technical bottlenecks, legacy patterns, and architectural debt that slow down threat detection and abuse response — then replace them with systems that are faster, more reliable, and more elegant. * Design and build critical data pipelines and services to collect, enrich, analyze, and expose threat intelligence and abuse signals at massive scale, helping identify Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs). * Serve as a technical force multiplier across multiple concurrent projects — you will context-switch between threat intelligence platforms, abuse detection systems, legal response tooling, and customer-facing security products as priorities demand. * Bring a threat-informed perspective to engineering decisions: understand how adversaries adapt, how detection rules degrade, and how to build systems that stay ahead of evolving attack techniques. * Collaborate with Threat Intelligence researchers, Trust & Safety analysts, Product, Legal, and other engineering teams to translate complex security and compliance requirements into scalable, production-grade solutions. * Mentor and elevate the engineering talent around you — set the bar for code quality, system design, operational rigor, and security-first thinking across both organizations. * Develop and champion agentic AI workflows and AI-assisted development practices that accelerate threat hunting, detection engineering, and abuse investigation. * Own the operational excellence of the systems you touch, including participation in on-call rotations and incident response. DESIRABLE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: * 15+ years of cyber security experience with an emphasis on building systems to present adversarial trends and techniques both as an internal reputational service and a product facing analyst service. * 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production, with demonstrated expertise in complex system architecture and design. * Deep, hands-on proficiency in Go and/or TypeScript, with production experience deploying services in Kubernetes and on edge computing platforms (e.g., Cloudflare Workers, D1/SQLite-at-the-edge). * Subject matter expertise in threat intelligence, adversarial analysis, or detection engineering — you understand the Cyber Kill Chain, know how to track TTPs, and can reason about attacker infrastructure at scale. * Proven ability to work across organizational boundaries and lead technical initiatives that span multiple teams, codebases, and problem domains simultaneously. * Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic AI workflows. * Strong architectural judgment — you know when to build, when to refactor, and when to burn it down and start over. * Experience designing and operating critical data pipelines (Kafka, Temporal, or similar) and working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and caching layers (Redis) at scale. * Excellent communication skills — you can explain a complex system design to a VP and debug a race condition with a junior engineer in the same afternoon. * A track record as a disruptor: you have examples of fundamentally improving how a team, system, or organization operates, not just shipping features. Bonus Points: * Experience in the Trust & Safety or platform abuse domain — phishing detection, malware analysis, fraud prevention, or content moderation at scale. * Proficiency in writing detection rules using YARA, Snort, or similar detection languages. * Experience analyzing adversary TTPs across web-based threat vectors, including phishing obfuscation techniques (HTML encoding, JavaScript redirects, Base64, embedded scripts). * Familiarity with Rust. * Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices. * Prior experience building threat intelligence platforms, IOC distribution systems, or automated mitigation pipelines. * Experience with React for internal tooling and analyst-facing applications. * Deep understanding of DNS, TLS/SSL, HTTP, and web security standards. Equity This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan. Benefits Cloudflare offers a complete package of benefits and programs to support you and your family, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, flexible paid time off, and fertility & family-forming benefits. AVAILABLE LOCATIONS * Austin, US * Atlanta * Denver * Seattle ABOUT THE ROLE Cloudflare operates one of the world's largest and most interconnected networks, spanning 335+ cities across every region of the globe. We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our Edge Network & Backbone team — someone who brings deep operational experience, an AI-first mindset, and the instinct to mentor and lift the engineers around them. In your first year, this role is deliberately hands-on: you'll be in the operational trenches, owning complex faults, driving capacity work, and setting the standard for how we run the network. Beyond that, you'll help shape how the team works — building AI-enabled tooling and agents that reduce toil, accelerate troubleshooting, and make the whole team more effective. This is a North American based role, but you'll be joining one global team: the sun never sets on Cloudflare, and our engineers hand off work across every time zone to keep the network running around the clock. RESPONSIBILITIES * Own the technical operation, engineering, and architecture of Cloudflare's global network, including planning, installation, and day-to-day management of hardware and software across the edge and backbone. * Serve as a hands-on operational anchor for the team — diagnosing and resolving complex network faults, owning incident response end-to-end including on-call rotation, and contributing to post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement. * Build production AI agents for network operations. Design, ship, and own LLM-powered tools that integrate with our operational systems of record via tool calling. Ship them with evals, observability of agent decisions, cost tracking, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints where autonomous action carries blast radius. * Apply AI to accelerate troubleshooting. Use and extend our internal AI platform (Workers AI, AI Gateway) to speed up root cause analysis, pattern recognition across faults, and operational decision-making under pressure. * Architect network improvements that lower latency, reduce packet loss, and increase scale — optimising end user experience across Cloudflare's global infrastructure. * Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team, setting technical standards, conducting structured troubleshooting sessions, and building a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning. * Collaborate with internal teams on cross-functional network projects, contributing to design documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles that outlast any individual contributor. DESIRABLE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE * Proven track record in large-scale network engineering and operations. * Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript and/or Go sufficient to build, debug, and maintain agent code, not just to glue scripts together. * Working knowledge of agent integration patterns: function/tool calling, MCP or equivalent, retrieval over operational corpora (runbooks, postmortems, change history), and prompt iteration with evals. * Experience reasoning about agent failure modes in production: hallucination guards, fallback paths, rollback, blast-radius control. * Deep expertise in BGP and anycast routing, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex routing issues in a production environment. * Strong understanding of MPLS and Segment Routing. * Proficiency across multiple network vendor operating systems (Juniper, Cisco, Arista, or similar). * Experience with network automation frameworks such as SaltStack, Ansible, or equivalent, and a strong instinct for solving operational problems through code. * Ability to prioritise effectively and lead calmly when faced with high-pressure scenarios. * An effective communicator who can adapt their style to any audience — whether guiding a junior engineer through a fault or presenting a network architecture decision to senior leadership. BONUS POINTS * Shipped LLM-powered tooling into production use by a team other than your own, with measurable operational impact. * Professional-level network certification (JNCIP, CCNP, or equivalent or higher). * Experience with optical transport technologies such as CWDM and DWDM. * Linux system administration. * Experience writing network configuration and design documentation at an architectural level.
