About the Role We are looking for a passionate Test Automation Engineer to join our team developing next-generation autonomous vehicle technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust automation frameworks and creating data-driven dashboards to ensure the quality, reliability, and safety of our vehicle functions. If you are excited about autonomous driving, test automation, and transforming complex test data into actionable, real-time insights using tools like Grafana, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable automated test scripts and test frameworks for safety-critical vehicle functions. Create and manage Grafana dashboards to visualize test results, system health, and quality KPIs for cross-functional teams. Integrate automated testing pipelines with data visualization and monitoring tools to provide real-time feedback during the development lifecycle. Analyze system and software requirements to define and implement effective automated test strategies. Execute automated tests in simulation and target environments (CI/CD integration). Perform detailed log analysis and evaluate test results, utilizing dashboards to quickly identify defects, anomalies, and root causes. Collaborate with system engineers, developers, and safety engineers to ensure comprehensive automated test coverage and clear reporting. Drive continuous improvement of testing methodologies, automation processes, and telemetry/reporting infrastructure. Qualifications Required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Proven experience in software test automation and building automated test frameworks. Hands-on experience creating, configuring, and maintaining Grafana dashboards for monitoring, reporting, and data visualization. Strong proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into continuous integration workflows. Experience analyzing logs, interpreting large datasets, and troubleshooting complex system behaviors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Familiarity with time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB, Prometheus) commonly used alongside Grafana. Experience in automotive software development or testing. Experience with safety-critical systems (ISO 26262, ASPICE, or similar standards). Familiarity with autonomous driving systems, ADAS, sensor technologies, or vehicle control systems.

Role overview We are looking to hire a QA Automation Engineer II to join our Enterprise Applications team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, building, maintaining, and improving automated test coverage across the Enterprise Applications product portfolio, working across multiple teams and platforms in line with business and technical requirements. You will partner closely with Engineering, QA,and product stakeholders to ensure our enterprise systems and integrations are stable, reliable, and release-ready. This role combines a strong hands-on focus on test automation, AI leverage and analysis of Enterprise applications across a complex enterprise stack, with particular emphasis on Salesforce and its integrations with financial platforms. What you'll do * The first part of the role is experience with software quality, including the ability to create end-to-end scenarios, analyze results, and report defects. * Experience with SaaS cloud-based applications such as Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus. * Define and execute test strategies/test scenarios/test cases daily to assure quality across CarGurus enterprise applications, including but not limited to Salesforce, Zuora, Marketo, and NetSuite. * Perform a wide range of testing such as E2E, functional, exploratory, regression, smoke, black-box, and data to ensure that implemented features are free of bugs, that system integration is reliable, and that business processes are not broken. * Implement, enhance, and optimize automation frameworks for specific applications and features, contributing to the evolution of automation framework design and recommending improvements for scalability, maintainability, and effectiveness. * Design automation solutions that align with CI/CD practices, enabling efficient integration of automated testing into modern delivery pipelines. * Collaborate with other QA engineers to help plan and test new and existing features, design, implement, improve and optimize automation framework. * Work hand-in-hand and advise software developers engaged in the design, coding, reviewing, and testing of enterprise software. * Troubleshoot test failures and quality issues across services, APIs, and application modules, using a systematic debugging approach and considering performance impacts where relevant * Self-driven, self-motivated, works independently and with larger groups What you'll bring * Bachelor’s degree in engineering degree or equivalent * 3-5 years of QA experience working with cloud-based CRM/ERP technologies or enterprise applications stack, preferably Salesforce. * Creative, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to think beyond conventional approaches and leverage a variety of tools, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve efficiency, solve problems, and optimize processes * You bring a deep understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, load, and performance testing. * Experience with REST APIs and Postman testing is a plus * Solid user of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence…) * Apex, SOQL, or any Salesforce-related developer technologies experience is a plus. * Good understanding of SDLC, Agile * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills * Creative with a desire to learn and take ownership * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying process improvements and driving continuous innovation * Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and automation solutions as needed, with a flexible approach to supporting evolving team and business needs * Ability to build productive cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively with engineering, QA, and business stakeholders. The displayed range represents the expected annual base salary / On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position. On-Target Earnings (OTE) is inclusive of base salary and on-target commission earnings, which applies exclusively to sales roles. Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and other factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This annual base salary forms part of a comprehensive Total Rewards Package. In addition to benefits, this role may qualify for discretionary bonuses/incentives and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
