We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair.
Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our
century, access to low cost electricity.
tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that’s long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today’s
electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users -
businesses and generators.
We’ve built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology
is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy
transactions at scale.
In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation
from Albion, Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global
expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership.
We’re scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets
worldwide.
Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in
energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems.
At tem, we’re not just building another energy company, we’re rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency,
efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception.
We're hiring a Senior Product Manager, Rosso.
This is the second product manager on Rosso, reporting into the Rosso Product Lead. Rosso is deeply technical, built on ML-led
models and complex engineering covering forecasting, pricing optimisation and portfolio balancing, so this is a role for a
technically-minded PM who's happiest closest to the hardest problems. You'll work on complex, important problems as they arise
across the Rosso product surface, alongside the other PM on the team, rather than owning one fixed patch - in the near term that's
likely to mean concentrating on the portfolio area, which is still forming and needs dedicated product attention.

birthday 🎉.
Our processes normally take around 2-3 weeks from first call to offer - please let us know about any adjustments to timelines that
may be required.
1. First call with our Talent Team (30 Mins). This is to understand your experience, motivations, and discuss the role in more
detail.
2. Behaviour Interview with our Product Lead (45 Mins). This is your chance to really understand the role, the expectations, and
ensure alignment on ways of working.
3. Technical Interview with the Team (75 Mins). You’ll meet with potential peers to discuss how you drive product execution, work
closely with ML and engineering teams, and think through real product scenarios - built around a real product decision shaped
by a model or forecast, so we're testing on proof, not assertion.
4. Culture-Add Interview with Stakeholders (45 Mins). The final session will be with two cross-functional stakeholders, and will
explore how your values align with ours, and is designed to be a genuine two-way conversation, your chance to understand what
it’s really like to work at tem.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, including those that are traditionally
underrepresented in the tech and energy sectors. If you’re excited about this role but not sure you meet every requirement, we’d
still love to hear from you. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.

Watch our showcase > Read up on our $100m Series C Learn more about our culture > WHICH TEAM WILL YOU BE JOINING? Product at Primer owns the systems that move money for some of the most demanding merchants in the world. We are building payments infrastructure that has to be correct, resilient and fast, in a space where the edge cases are the job, not an afterthought. We are hiring Senior PMs across numerous teams. Wherever you land, you will own a full product area: a coherent space made up of several related problems, with outcomes that persist over quarters and years rather than a single initiative. You set the direction for that area, decide what gets solved and what deliberately does not, and own how success is measured. You will report into our VP of Product and work day to day with a dedicated engineering team and design partner, alongside GTM, RevOps and Product Marketing. Primer is remote-first and globally distributed, and always will be. We run on written thinking, low bureaucracy and real ownership. You build it, you own it, end to end. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? * Owning the strategy and outcomes for your product area, translating company objectives into a multi-quarter plan and clear guardrails for what you will and will not build * Resolving genuine ambiguity with evidence and judgment, not waiting for someone to hand you a brief or a roadmap * Running discovery and an ongoing insight system for your area: research cadence, merchant and GTM feedback loops, and competitive monitoring that actually changes decisions * Working closely with engineering on implementation, architecture and long-term technical direction, not just handing over specs * Setting GTM direction for your area, including positioning and pricing input, in partnership with RevOps and Product Marketing * Making sophisticated trade-offs across scope, quality and timing, protecting long-term technical health rather than only this quarter's delivery * Raising the quality of product thinking around you through clear decision documentation, reusable playbooks and the example you set under pressure * Acting as a credible product voice with senior internal stakeholders and directly with key merchants WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Must-haves: * A track record of owning a product area or substantial problem space end to end, where the outcomes can be traced back to your judgment and execution * Strong product judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes situations, with the ability to explain your reasoning clearly * Comfort working deeply with engineers on technical and architectural trade-offs, enough fluency to be a real partner rather than a translator * Evidence-led decision making: you use data, research and merchant input to decide, and you know when the evidence is thin * The ability to influence senior stakeholders and align conflicting interests without relying on authority Nice-to-haves: * Experience in payments, fintech or another complex, regulated or infrastructure domain * Experience building or improving the systems and rituals a product team runs on YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT HERE * You are expected to set the strategy for your area, including what not to build. If you do your best work executing a plan someone else owns, this is not the role. * We are remote-first and async by default. If you need people physically around you, or real-time availability to feel productive, this is a real adjustment, not a perk. * Context and priorities shift as we learn. You will sometimes change direction on work you were attached to, and you need to be able to do that without it derailing you. * Feedback here is direct, frequent and not softened. You are expected to give it as well as take it. ✅ A TYPICAL INTERVIEW PROCESS * An initial intro call with a Talent Partner * An interview with the Hiring Manager * Challenge Stage - Contextualised to the role * A final, values-alignment interview WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT PRIMER? We're building a culture where people can do their best work and be proud of the impact they have. You'll be working with people who are mission-driven, smart, and reflective, and who are genuinely invested in building exceptional products and delivering success for our merchants. We work remotely, and have done since day one. We believe that building a successful, profitable company goes beyond proximity. We invest in our relationships through great remote working practices and thoughtfully designed face-to-face time, including workations, our annual company retreat, and access to co-working spaces across most major cities. The work is challenging. Scaleups are a challenge, and building category-defining products is a challenge. But there's a meaningful difference between a challenge and a struggle. At Primer, the right challenge comes with the right support: strong onboarding, a collaborative environment, and a team that is genuinely invested in your success. It's never something you face alone. OUR BENEFITS 🌍 We are fully remote and globally distributed; and have been since day one 💰 Competitive share options 🌴 Uncapped holiday, with 25 days minimum to be taken 🗣️ Co-working space access across major cities 📅 Workations & Company Retreat 💻 The best equipment for your role 🏠 £500 towards your home office setup 🔎 Generous learning budget 🏥 Private Medical Insurance 📈 A broad set of additional perks and benefits (depending on location) DON’T MEET EVERY SINGLE REQUIREMENT? At Primer, we're dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification listed, we encourage you to apply. You may be the right candidate for this or other roles. Primer is committed to the equal treatment of all current and prospective employees and adopts a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination, regardless of age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, gender identity, marriage and civil partnership, or any other background or belief.
