This role is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of commissioning projects across multiple client
sites. The position requires extensive travel to support new project startups and existing commissioning operations, ensuring
consistent delivery, compliance, and performance across all contracts. The individual will play a key role in strengthening client
relationships, supporting business growth, and driving operational excellence throughout the commissioning lifecycle — from
pre-commissioning through system turnover and handover. Please note that this role may require extensive travel and candidates may
be required to relocate for a period of 3 to 18 months depending on project needs.

This role is responsible for leading electrical commissioning activities and supporting the strategic deployment of commissioning services across multiple project sites. The position requires extensive travel to new and existing client locations to ensure successful project startup, execution, and contract delivery. The individual will play a key role in establishing strong client relationships, driving technical excellence, and ensuring consistent safety and quality standards across all deployments. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Travel to new project sites to initiate electrical commissioning scopes and establish strong client relationships for long-term success. * Travel to existing project sites to assess performance and address concerns related to commissioning delivery. * Support multiple electrical commissioning deployments throughout the year based on project requirements. * Lead electrical commissioning activities across project phases including planning, startup, testing, and handover. * Train and mentor commissioning engineers and technicians to ensure high-quality electrical commissioning delivery. * Develop and elevate team members into leadership roles during site deployments. * Support the development of electrical commissioning training materials and subject matter content. * Provide oversight and support across multiple commissioning support services contracts when deployed. * Ensure the LotusWorks safety culture is implemented and maintained across all assigned project sites in coordination with EHS teams. * Ensure delivery of site-specific electrical commissioning contract requirements in alignment with client expectations. * Establish, monitor, and maintain LotusWorks quality standards across all electrical commissioning activities. * Ensure project resource planning is effectively applied to meet electrical commissioning scope and timelines. * Conduct site audits to verify contractual compliance and quality of electrical commissioning delivery. * Lead coordination with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure system readiness and successful commissioning outcomes. * Provide feedback and implement improvements based on site performance, audits, and lessons learned. * Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. SKILLS REQUIRED: * Strong knowledge of electrical commissioning processes including switchgear, transformers, UPS, and power distribution systems. * Proven experience leading electrical commissioning activities across multiple sites or large-scale projects. * Ability to manage and support strategic deployments in dynamic, fast-paced environments. * Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to develop commissioning teams. * Excellent communication and client relationship management capabilities. * Experience with commissioning tools and platforms for tracking progress and documentation. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and resolve technical and operational issues. * Experience conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and maintaining quality standards. * Strong organizational and planning skills, including resource and schedule management. * Willingness and ability to travel extensively based on project deployment requirements. * Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. EDUCATION / LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. * OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred. * NETA certification preferred. * Project Management certification preferred. * Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable. Mechanical Subject Matter Expert plays a critical leadership role in the successful deployment, execution, and expansion of commissioning (QCx) services across multiple mission-critical projects. This role is responsible for establishing strong operational foundations on new and existing client sites, ensuring consistent delivery of safety, quality, and contractual obligations. The SME will act as a technical leader, mentor, and strategic partner—supporting mechanical commissioning activities while driving team development, client satisfaction, and business growth across data center, semiconductor, and other mission-critical environments. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Deploy to new sites to initiate QCx operations and contract requirements * Establish and maintain strong client relationships for long-term success * Travel to existing sites to assess performance and resolve delivery concerns * Support multiple site deployments annually * Train and mentor QCx Technicians on mechanical commissioning practices * Coach and develop technicians into leadership roles during deployments * Support development of QCx training modules and technical content * Oversee delivery of multiple construction support services contracts * Ensure execution of site-specific contract requirements * Enforce company safety culture in collaboration with EHS teams * Maintain and monitor QCx quality standards across all projects * Ensure proper resource planning and staffing alignment * Conduct site audits for compliance and quality delivery * Resolve project, personnel, and contractual issues * Provide team performance feedback and continuous improvement guidance * Collaborate with internal teams including EHS, Quality, Commercial, HR, and Site Management * Support recruitment and internal mobility for QCx teams * Assist with project billing processes * Contribute to RFP development and submission * Identify and support expansion opportunities within existing contracts * Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities * Support continuous improvement programs and initiatives * Participate in project safety programs * Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and best practices * Provide data-driven updates to senior management on operations and delivery * Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
