We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer with a platform infrastructure / Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) background to join
us to work on infrastructure automation, integration, and operations. Work covers backend development, service integrations,
infrastructure-as-code, and site reliability engineering aspects. Adjacent experience up or down the stack is also highly
valuable.
This role is hybrid, based out of the Austin, TX; Santa Clara, CA; or Toronto, ON.

Description: UNIX Administrator Cache DBA Job Description: Team lead architecting, building, and supporting UNIX solutions and acts as a lead DBA using InterSystems Cache. Organizes installation of UNIX servers, prepares plan for technology refresh program of data center infrastructure working with vendors and staff to ensure minimal downtime. Responsible for configuration and management of Cache databases. Works closely with Network Engineers/Admins to ensure compliance with organization's goals and objectives of having an innovative, redundant infrastructure allowing for business continuance and disaster recovery. Must have demonstrated experience in SAN connected servers, Fiber Channel networking and HP-UX or IBM AIX_ Must be knowledgeable in DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP. Must work with network engineers/admins to develop a security plan using virus scanning, firewalls and IDS/IPS_ User support functions include 3rd thru 4th level support, and assistance to end users from all client locations. Responsible for administering backups for servers and monitoring backup jobs to ensure completion, and testing of data restores, storage and replication in a SAN/NAS environment required. Job Summary This is an entry-level role that works exclusively with our shop and dealership customers to drive awareness and education of OEC technologies and competitive parts pricing programs. Increases overall parts sales through regular visits with customers onsite at their locations within an assigned territory to drive customer partnership and product utilization. To be considered, candidates must live within one hour of a major airport anywhere within the lower 48 U.S. States and be willing to travel nationally by car and plane 80% of work time. Key Responsibilities 1. Visits shops and dealerships to ensure OEC product performance is being optimized. Ensures customer satisfaction to maintain product subscription levels. 2. Identifies ways to strengthen partnerships with current customers and upsell additional products/services. 3. Works closely with shops and dealerships to build cohesive team environments focused on selling more automotive parts through use of our ecommerce platforms. 4. Partners with automaker field staff to increase overall awareness of how OEC technologies and solutions help dealers sell more parts. 5. Partners with Customer Success team members to coordinate activities in the field, identifying areas of opportunity for future field support, as well as relaying follow up action items post customer visit in a timely manner. 6. Supports revenue generating initiatives as needed through collaborative partnership with internal Direct Sales and National Accounts teams. 7. Utilizes OEC’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) to maintain complete call records, visit notes, and accurate customer/account information as well as notate sales leads, which support increased product usage/sales goals. Education A High School diploma or G.E.D. is required. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related discipline is preferred. Experience At least 1 year of formal customer-facing experience, which could include internships, part-time roles, campus leadership, or service industry work.
