Your role in our team As our new Advanced Systems Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of complex systems in the air domain as part of a collaborative European defense project. In this role, you will use model-based systems engineering methods to support system architecture, requirements definition, mission-level objectives, modelling, simulation, analysis, and integration. You will help analyze system behavior, refine system performance, create technical documentation and visual representations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in design reviews and workshops. You will work with both established and emerging technologies and have the opportunity to explore new solutions. You will become part of a small but growing team dedicated to innovation-focused projects. Your key responsibilities include: -System Definition & Architecture: Support system-level analysis, requirements development, and architectural design. Mission level goals and measures of success. -Integration & Coordination: Contribute to defining system interactions and performance considerations across multiple components and domains. -Analysis & Modeling: Explore system behavior through modeling, simulation, and scenario-based analysis. -Tools & Documentation: Develop and maintain models, documentation, and visual representations of system concepts. -Collaboration: Participate in design discussions, reviews, and cross-team workshops with internal and external stakeholders. Bring your world class expertise into play You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications: -You have PhD or Postdoctoral experience in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. -Strong foundation in analytical and quantitative disciplines -Exposure, or interest, in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is an advantage. As a person, you are curious, analytical, and motivated by understanding and solving complex systems challenges. You bring a research-oriented mindset, potentially shaped by experience in academic or research environments, and enjoy exploring problems in depth before translating insights into practical system-level solutions. This opportunity offers involvement in the design, development, verification, and continuous enhancement of specialized vehicle platforms operating in a technically demanding environment. The successful candidate will contribute throughout the complete product lifecycle, from concept generation and requirements analysis to engineering modifications, prototype coordination, verification activities, and maintenance of technical specifications.
