About the Role At Remarcable, we’re reshaping how electrical contractors and distributors connect, purchase, and operate. Our cloud-based platform streamlines procurement, accounting workflows, and tool management, giving contractors clarity, efficiency, and automation. We are hiring an Accounting Systems Analyst to serve as the accounting subject‑matter expert supporting our internal teams and customers. This role is focused on training, education, enablement, and accounting best practices related to Remarcable’s integrations. If you enjoy teaching accounting concepts, translating ERP functionality into practical workflows, and being the trusted accounting SME inside a fast-growing SaaS company, this role is an excellent fit. What You’ll Do Training & Enablement * Deliver live and virtual training sessions for customers and internal teams on accounting workflows, construction‑specific practices, ERP integrations, and financial data flow. * Develop training materials, documentation, process guides, and best‑practice resources tailored to construction accounting. * Conduct workshops focused on AP, AR, GL, Job Costing, WIP, retainage, and revenue workflows, aligned to contractor needs. * Build and maintain enablement curriculum for onboarding, expansions, and ongoing education. Accounting & ERP Subject-Matter Expertise * Act as the organization’s accounting workflow SME * Translate accounting requirements into appropriate Remarcable configurations. * Partner with Product and Engineering to validate accounting workflows and ensure alignment with construction accounting principles. Integration Guidance & Workflow Mapping * Help customers understand how their accounting data maps into Remarcable and through connected systems (Sage, Trimble, Foundations, etc.). * Explain integration behavior, exception scenarios, and data transformation rules relevant to construction accounting. * Support onboarding teams with GL mapping, cost code structures, vendor workflows, PO/receipt/invoice flows, and job costing alignment. * Provide accounting logic or workflow context when support cases involve financial processes. Documentation & Collaboration * Create documentation for accounting workflows, integration logic, construction best practices, and training curriculum. * Collaborate with Support, Customer Success, Supplier Relations, Engineering, and Product teams. * Contribute to internal knowledge‑sharing to elevate accounting and construction workflow literacy across the organization. Who You Are Core Strengths * Strong communicator capable of teaching accounting concepts clearly to diverse audiences. * Able to translate accounting language into clear system workflows. * Comfortable presenting, training, and leading discussions with both internal teams and customers. * Naturally curious and proactive in understanding complex financial and construction processes. * Organized, articulate, and confident in building documentation and training programs. Accounting Background * Strong understanding of GL, AP, AR, * Experience in construction or electrical contracting accounting is nice to have * Hands‑on experience with ERPs * Accounting degree, minor, designation, or equivalent experience required. Industry Experience * Background in construction, electrical contracting, distribution, or material supply is an asset. Systems & SaaS Aptitude * Comfortable learning new systems and understanding platform data flow. * Ability to translate system behavior into business language. * Experience in SaaS environments is an asset. Remarcable is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, system reliability, observability, and scalability. The ideal candidate brings strong DevOps fundamentals paired with solid software development skills, enabling them to build clean, maintainable automation and internal tooling. You are comfortable operating with autonomy, making architectural decisions, and elevating the quality and resilience of our delivery and operational workflows. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and own CI/CD pipelines across multiple services to streamline software development and deployment. • Maintain, optimize, and architect cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) to ensure scalability, security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. • Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and management using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) with modular, reusable patterns. • Monitor and improve system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability and reliability across environments. • Collaborate with software engineers to enhance deployment strategies and build internal tooling that improves development workflows. • Implement security best practices across infrastructure, networking, identity, and access. • Own or support security and compliance requirements, including SOC 2 controls, documentation, and evidence collection. • Manage and enhance containerization and orchestration tools (experience with any modern orchestration platform; ECS, Kubernetes, or similar). • Optimize logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (ELK stack, Datadog, etc.) to improve visibility and accelerate incident response. • Build and maintain observability tooling, including metrics, logging, and tracing (OpenTelemetry experience is a strong plus). • Optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost-efficient infrastructure practices. • Stay current with the latest DevOps best practices, tools, and industry standards. Who You Are • 3-5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering. • Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS required; Azure/GCP a plus) and cloud-native architectures. • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows end-to-end. • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred; CloudFormation or Ansible also welcome). • Strong software development skills, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code in a modern programming language. • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (experience with any major platform; ECS, Kubernetes, or similar). • Strong understanding of security best practices, IAM, networking, system administration, and distributed systems. • Experience supporting or contributing to security and compliance programs, ideally SOC 2 or similar. • Proficiency with monitoring and observability tooling (ELK, Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, etc.). • Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies. • Comfortable operating autonomously in an agile, fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of ownership.
