We are now seeking a Mechanical Engineer for one of our clients.
To R&D Mechanics at our client, we need a reinforcement of a Mechanical Design Engineer with extended experience of Solid Works.
The task will be to participate in a development project with work related to new or improved design and optimization of
mechanical structural design. Our design tools are Solid Works and SAP. Knowledge in moving cable harness and/or areas of casting
and machining, gear wheels, moving structures is meritorious. It is also meritorious with previous experience of R&D Mechanics
within Robotics. The candidate needs to be a highly self-going personality that is used to work with flexibility to different team
tasks.

The Role As an Automation Engineer at Quintus, you will work with automation solutions for advanced machine systems and customer-specific deliveries. The work includes PLC and HMI programming, testing, troubleshooting and support during commissioning and customer deliveries. You will take responsibility for automation-related parts of the projects and drive the work forward in close collaboration with electrical design, mechanical engineering, fluid systems, project management and production. With production located close by, you work close to both testing and final delivery, which creates short feedback loops and a practical connection to the product. The role also includes contributing to technical discussions, improving ways of working and supporting less experienced colleagues in automation-related questions. Your Profile We believe you have solid experience from industrial automation and are confident working with PLC and HMI programming, preferably in Rockwell and Siemens. You may have worked with advanced machinery, process equipment, production equipment or other technically complex systems where reliability and technical precision are important. You are used to taking responsibility in projects, solving technical problems and working closely with other disciplines. Experience from industrial communication, fieldbus systems, cyber security considerations and support during commissioning is valuable, as is experience from international projects or customer-specific technical solutions. We are also interested in candidates with a strong foundation in PLC/HMI programming and some experience from industrial automation, who are ready to grow into a role with more responsibility over time. We are now looking for an experienced SQA to take on a newly established role within our Quality team in Västerås. This is a role for someone who wants to bring experience, take ownership and help develop how Quintus works with supplier quality going forward. You are structured, analytical and confident in driving quality matters involving several functions. You communicate clearly, build trust and are strong in collaboration, both with suppliers and across internal teams. You know how to build long-term relationships while keeping quality requirements clear. A university degree in engineering is preferred, for example within mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a similar field. Experience from quality methods such as 8D, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, Six Sigma or similar is valuable. Knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001 is also beneficial. You are fluent in both English and Swedish.
