Your key skills and capabilities:  * Engage with either AWS or GCP cloud ecosystems to ensure best practise development for new and existing solutions  * Build, deploy and manage Cloud Infrastructure through with IaC concepts  * Hands on experience with serverless services such as AWS’ S3, Glue or Lake Formation and GCP’s Cloud Functions, Big Query or Data Fusion  * Integrate native cloud services with 3rd party solutions through the offered networking solutions  * Understanding of the Python ecosystem from local development to production environments  * Experience of DevOps approaches supported with Python  * Work within a delivery focused team using Agile methodologies  * Comfortable with Docker and some exposure to orchestration tools  * Review and implement security best practices within cloud environments  We expect you to know how to architect, design, develop, deploy and operate a data platform and be a good leader for your team.  OUR PROMISE TO YOU We will always see you as a human being and will do our very best to support your needs and wellbeing – well-designed co-working and collaboration spaces, remote working patterns that work for you, parenting leave, sabbaticals and ability to work on personal projects. About the role: As a Senior Back End Engineer, you will architect robust backend services for tasks like database scaling, synchronisation across devices, and integration with other services (e.g., calendars); and optimise the performance of critical components. You will contribute to the team's growth by mentoring newcomers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing. What you’ll do: * Build distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems in the cloud using Golang. * Develop tools for running and monitoring the system and ensure reliable operations at optimal performance. * Work closely with the product manager and client development teams to define architecture, protocols, and requirements for new functionalities. * Collaborate with the team and contribute to the overall success of the project About you: * Strong background in backend development, including high proficiency in Golang * Experience with distributed systems and high-load services * Knowledge of relational database systems and key-value stores * Basic knowledge of Kubernetes * Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP * You demonstrate a deep passion for the products you contribute to * You're great at thinking ahead, foreseeing how your work shapes the user experience  * You know how to deliver product quality in optimal development time * You have a keen eye for both zooming in on details and seeing the big picture * You are highly flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team Would be a plus: * Knowledge of data structures and algorithms (DSA) * DevOps skills  * Familiarity with NoSQL * Experience in front-end development using modern Javascript frameworks * Contributions to the open-source community * Experience with scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Shell What you will get at Readdle: * Customer-centric culture. We are dedicated to crafting exceptional mobile and desktop experiences for those who aspire to achieve more. We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join the Documents Team. Our team is working on building and scaling a new web application, expanding the ecosystem of one of our key products. This is a great opportunity to have a real impact on product decisions, architecture, and user experience while working across both frontend and backend.   What you’ll do:  * Developing user-facing application(s):              - Main stack is Typescript, React, Nextjs, Tailwind              - Back-end is Node, Nestjs, Postgres, AWS * Back-end tasks to power new functionality for both web and iOS app * Working with product and marketing teams to define clear requirements and estimates * Writing tests * Always teaching others and giving helpful feedback * Good SEO and accessibility is a must * Experience with various third-party integrations as we will integrate more and more About you: Front-end: * React, CSS * Next.js, TailwindSEO * SEO, Accessibility * Smooth animations * Responsive UI * Pixel-perfect implementation Back-end: * Nest.js and Postgres * Distributed systems and event-based architecture * SQL skills and experience working with ORMs * CI/CD, and infrastructure setup * Third-party integrations and their side-effects Overall: * Strong English skills (we have several required meetups in English, plus engineers present the features themselves in English) * Enjoy working on pet projects, finds opportunities to learn and try something outside of work projects only * Enjoy both back-end and front-end.   Would be a plus: * AI integrations * External LLM tools, like LangFuse, LangChain, etc. * Desire to build automations * Interest in knowledge sharing   What you will get at Readdle: * Customer-centric culture.
