Sie verantworten die Compliance-Funktion der ÖKOWORLD LUX S.A. am Standort Wecker in einem regulatorisch anspruchsvollen Umfeld.
Dazu gehört die laufende Überwachung der Einhaltung gesetzlicher, regulatorischer und interner Vorgaben sowie die Beratung der
Geschäftsleitung bzw. des Verwaltungsrates sowie der relevanten Fachbereiche in sämtlichen compliancebezogenen Fragestellungen.
Sie übernehmen die Rolle des RC und wirken an der Sicherstellung eines wirksamen, risikoorientierten Compliance- und
Kontrollrahmens mit. Sie beobachten regulatorische Entwicklungen, beurteilen deren Auswirkungen auf das Unternehmen und begleiten
deren Umsetzung in Richtlinien, Prozessen und Kontrollen. Ebenso erstellen Sie das regelmäßige Reporting an die zuständige
Geschäftsleitung und unterstützen bei der Vorbereitung von Prüfungen, Anfragen und sonstigen aufsichtsbezogenen Themen.
Darüber hinaus begleiten Sie neue Prozesse, Entwicklungen und Geschäftsvorhaben mit Blick auf deren regulatorische Relevanz. Dabei
wird ein strukturiertes, nachvollziehbares und pragmatisches Arbeiten vorausgesetzt. Der sichere Umgang mit modernen
Arbeitsmitteln gehört selbstverständlich zur Rolle; Offenheit im Umgang mit digitalen Lösungen und Künstlicher Intelligenz wird
ausdrücklich erwünscht.
Sie verfügen über eine fundierte Berufserfahrung im Bereich Compliance im Luxemburger Finanzsektor, idealerweise im Umfeld einer
UCITS Manco, eines AIFM, Asset Managers, PSF, einer Verwahrstelle oder eines vergleichbaren regulierten Instituts. Sie kennen die
Erwartungen des Luxemburger regulatorischen Rahmens aus praktischer Erfahrung und bringen das notwendige Verantwortungsbewusstsein
für eine offizielle Kontrollfunktion mit.

As a Senior Compliance Associate for Coinbase Luxembourg S.A., you'll serve as a strategic advisor and key second-line defender within the Luxembourg Compliance team. This team owns the compliance framework that keeps Coinbase aligned with regulatory obligations across one of our most critical European entities. You'll lead framework development, regulatory advisory, and CCO support, ensuring our compliance posture scales with the business and meets the expectations of Luxembourg regulators. Required Skills and Experience: * 5-7+ years of compliance experience within an EU-regulated financial institution (e-money institution, payment institution, bank, or MiFID II-regulated entity), with progressive responsibility across multiple compliance disciplines. * Demonstrated working knowledge of EU financial regulations including MiCA, PSD2, AMLD, MiFID II, DORA, and GDPR, with experience applying them to policy drafting, monitoring plans, and regulatory reporting. * Proven track record of preparing materials for and supporting direct engagement with regulators, auditors, and internal governance bodies. * Experience leading compliance monitoring/testing programs and conducting thematic reviews with documented findings and remediation tracking. * Fluency in English required; proficiency in French is a strong advantage for engaging with Luxembourg regulators and local stakeholders. * Familiarity with crypto assets and crypto-related regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiCA implementation) is preferred. * Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality. You'll be the named RC and MLRO of Stripe Japan and will lead and assist in the registration of Stripe Japan as a Funds Transfer Business Operator (FTBO) with the Kanto Local Finance Bureau (KBF), under the oversight of the Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA). As the RC and MLRO, you'll be the principal decision-maker and strategic lead on regulatory compliance and financial crime risk management decisions, serving a critical role in ensuring Stripe's continued safe growth and success in Japan. You'll also be the public face of FinCRO in Japan. WHO YOU ARE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 10+ years of experience in financial crime, with a significant focus on financial services, fintech, or payments, and deep contacts and influence across the industry * Deep and current knowledge of financial crimes and other relevant financial services laws and regulations across Japan * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences * Ability to think strategically and translate complex regulatory requirements into creative and practical solutions * Strong problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making * Ability to define and iterate on Stripe Japan's risk appetite, ensuring a defensible stance as Stripe explores new, high-growth verticals and opportunities * High data literacy, with the ability to work closely with data teams to identify emerging financial crime patterns and validate the effectiveness of detection models PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience working in a global, matrixed organization * Deep competence navigating regulatory requirements in a high-growth environment * CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or other relevant professional certifications
