You'll build the customer-facing portal and factory operating system features that connect our customers to our factory. When a critical defense program needs parts by next week, your code is how they get them. THE ROLE As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on our Platform team, you'll own development of our customer portal and ERP/MES systems — the interface between our Manufacturing Intelligence stack and the humans who use it. You'll architect features from customer CAD upload to real-time order tracking to operator work instructions. Based at our HQ in Zurich (Oerlikon), you'll build: Customer Portal: CAD upload, automated quoting, order management, secure document exchange, real-time production tracking. or  Factory OS (ERP/MES): Job scheduling, work order management, operator interfaces, production dashboards, quality workflows. Note: You do not need defense or manufacturing experience to excel in this role. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven track record of shipping production-ready applications. * Technical Excellence: Strong command of TypeScript, React, and modern backend patterns (Go, Python, or Rust). Comfortable with PostgreSQL optimization and API design. * End-to-End Ownership: You own features from database schema to API design to frontend implementation. You don't wait for someone else to handle "the other half." * Technical Agency: Comfortable making decisions with minimal supervision. You have a passion for building interfaces that solve complex user workflows. * First Principles Thinker: You reason by physics and economics, not analogy. * Industrial Grit: Comfortable spending time on the shop floor in Germany to see how your software interacts precision machinery. * Maniacal Urgency: You understand that speed is our only edge. You'll own the interface layer between our Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) stack and the humans who use it: customers placing orders on our portal, operators running our flagship Factory ONE in Germany, engineers optimizing production. Your work directly determines whether a defense program gets parts in weeks instead of months. THE ROLE As the Tech Lead - Factory OS, you are the Architect and Owner of our Manufacturing Intelligence interface stack. Your mandate is twofold: building the foundational architecture of our Factory OS and building the engineering team required to manifest it. You are a Player-Coach who owns a core division of the company, acting as the bridge between the CEO's vision and production-ready code. Based at our new HQ in Zurich (Oerlikon), you'll lead development of the complete interface stack of our Manufacturing Intelligence platform: Customer-Facing Products: Our Customer Portal, ERP and MES, Partner Integration APIs, Defense-grade Security. Factory-Facing Tools: Operator Interfaces, Production Dashboards, Quality Management systems. Note: You do not need to have defense or manufacturing experience to excel in this role WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 5-7+ years of experience as a software engineer with a track record of architecting complex, scalable platforms that serve real users under real constraints. * Divisional Leadership: Proven experience owning a core element of a company or leading a new product division from 0-to-1. * Team Construction: Experience recruiting and mentoring high-performance engineering teams. You know how to identify and attract "A-Players." * Technical Agency: You are an expert in our tech stack (React, TypeScript, and Go, Python, or Rust) and are comfortable making high-stakes architectural decisions with minimal supervision. * Builder, not a Manager: You lead through code, not just meetings. You'll own the intelligence layer that makes autonomous manufacturing possible: the perception engine that understands geometry, the reasoning engine that plans production, and the algorithms that capture decades of manufacturing expertise in code. Your work directly determines whether a part can go from CAD upload to machine queue without human intervention. THE ROLE As the Tech Lead — Manufacturing Intelligence (MI), you are the Architect and Owner of our MI stack's core intelligence capabilities. Your mandate is twofold: building the foundational AI that powers our Factory OS, and building the engineering team required to deliver it. You are a Player-Coach who owns a core division of the company. Based at our HQ in Zurich (Oerlikon), you'll lead development of the intelligence layers that turn raw geometry into execution-ready manufacturing plans — spanning computational geometry, ML/AI, and manufacturing systems integration. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 5–7+ years of experience as a software engineer with a track record in ML/AI systems, computational geometry, or complex algorithmic software that operates under real-world constraints. * Advanced Academic Depth: MSc/PhD or equivalent research depth in Computer Science, Robotics, or AI (ideally ETH Zurich, EPFL, TUM, or similar). * Algorithmic Ownership: You have architected and shipped systems where the logic was the product, algorithms that solve hard combinatorial or geometric problems. * Team Construction: Experience recruiting and mentoring high-performance engineering teams. You know how to identify and attract elite technical talent. * High-Tempo Execution: You thrive in high-stakes environments and possess a strong sense of urgency.
