Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career. ABOUT THE TEAM Link is one of the fastest-growing consumer networks in the world, with 300M+ registered consumers. Our core mission is to make commerce seamless, helping merchants drive material gains in conversion and cost savings, while giving consumers a flexible and frictionless digital wallet they love. We're expanding beyond payments into identity and consumer finance, building the premier consumer network for next-generation commerce. In this role, you'd be joining a team that operates at the intersection of consumer experience, payments infrastructure, and financial products. Link spans multiple interconnected workstreams, including payment methods, money movement, fraud and authorization, consumer accounts and identity, and consumer preference, and a TPM here plays a critical role in keeping those threads aligned and moving forward at velocity. Additionally, you’ll work to build integrations between Link and many other parts of Stripe. WHAT YOU’LL DO Effective Technical Program Managers at Stripe always bias towards driving the right solutions for internal and external users, and delivering impact above all else. You'll do this even when it's not the easiest path, and requires difficult trade-off decisions. In this role, you'll help Link scale its consumer network and expand into new product surfaces by driving complex, cross-functional programs that span engineering, product, fraud, identity, and business teams. You'll look ahead and around corners to enable our teams to operate at their best, and identify opportunities to eliminate the unnecessary in delivering results. RESPONSIBILITIES * Independently define programs across Link's payment, identity, and consumer finance initiatives, including scoping, setting objectives, defining success criteria, and influencing resource allocation to deliver outcomes * Apply consistent prioritization and decision-making frameworks across your programs, driving high-velocity yet durable decisions that move the team forward without creating downstream debt * Identify obstacles and risks across Link's cross-functional workstreams, proactively communicate them to stakeholders, and develop plans to address and prevent their recurrence * Represent the voice of Link's consumers and merchants to all stakeholders, translating user needs into clear program objectives and ensuring engineering and product decisions remain grounded in solving real problems * Drive clarity across all stakeholders on goals, problems, and intended outcomes, serving as the connective tissue across Link sub-teams and their upstream and downstream dependencies. Operate similarly across Stripe, representing the Link org to collaborators in peer organizations. * Develop a strong point of view on Link's product development strategy and use it to define programs with measurable outcomes, adapting them as the product and user needs evolve * Understand the technical challenges across Link's systems, payment flows, identity infrastructure, fraud and risk models, money movement, and partner closely with engineering leads to define the most effective path to delivery WHO YOU ARE We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 10+ years of product management or technical program management experience, including managing programs across all phases of software development * Proven track record of defining and executing complex programs across multiple functions in consumer-facing or payments products * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders * Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, bring rapid clarity to multi-stakeholder problems, and drive teams toward effective solutions * Working knowledge of API design and high-level system architecture, sufficient to partner with engineering teams on program delivery PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience working on consumer network products, digital wallets, or payments platforms at scale * Familiarity with fraud and risk systems, identity verification, or financial compliance in a consumer product context * Experience working across payments infrastructure and consumer-facing product teams simultaneously * Background in collaborating with go-to-market, sales, or merchant-facing teams to deliver cross-functional outcomes
WHO WE ARE ABOUT STRIPE Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. ABOUT THE TEAM The Link team builds the premier consumer network for next-generation commerce, leveraging our base of 300M+ registered consumers to pioneer the future of Identity, Consumer Finance, and AI-driven transactions. While our foundation was built on high-conversion merchant payments and a flexible digital wallet, we are expanding far beyond. We are building the infrastructure for a world where AI agents transact on your behalf, stablecoins go mainstream, and identity dictates how money moves. We think of Link as the wallet for the internet — and we're building for what's next. WHAT YOU’LL DO You will build the Link App experience across web and native — building the wallet product consumers need to feel confident, excited, and inspired by the new ways payments and identity are changing online. That means being a true champion of the consumer: end-to-end owner of core features, a cross-functional partner to Engineering, Design, and GTM, and an active voice in shaping Link's consumer strategy alongside Link leadership. You'll define, build, and scale new and existing products — informed by consumer insights and data. We're looking for a technical PM who operates with a high degree of autonomy and drive. You care deeply about craft and impact — the only thing that really matters to you is getting well-built products into users' hands. You're probably already exploring how AI is changing how products get built and what it means for the PM role; you might even have a few half-finished side projects that prove it. RESPONSIBILITIES * Own the consumer perspective — spend time with users, partner closely with Engineering, GTM, and Operations, and synthesize feedback and market signals into clear product direction * Be the voice of the Link consumer, both within the team and across Stripe * Define and drive an ambitious roadmap, from expanding core capabilities to leading nascent initiatives through to maturity * Establish team pace, clear prioritization, and rigorous execution standards * Partner deeply with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ship cohesive, frictionless experiences WHO YOU ARE We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 8+ years in a product or technical role, with experience shipping world-class consumer products at scale * High taste, design empathy, and sharp judgment — can put yourself in the shoes of consumers and be a steward of crafting great experiences * Rigorous with data — comfortable digging into metrics, writing SQL when needed, and thinking from first principles to deliver the right results * Desire for continuous product improvement; able to optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium, and large releases * Ownership mindset — works on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight consumers * Strong written and verbal communication, with a talent for distilling user problems into precise, actionable framing * Experience managing high-stakes external partnerships — aligning on milestones and executing integrations end-to-end * Thrives with a high level of autonomy and responsibility PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience working on consumer financial products * Experience building brand new products or working in a startup environment * Experience working with GTM teams to bring a new product to market
