THE MISSION You are being hired to streamline and accelerate the onboarding journey for our mid-market customers across EMEA. Your mission is to ensure every regional brand seamlessly adopts Bynder as their essential engine for digital transformation, realizing instant value from Day 1. YOUR FIRST YEAR: THE IMPACT ROADMAP We hire for outcomes. Here is what success looks like in your first year: * Day 90: You’ve fully mastered the Bynder platform, our proprietary onboarding methodology, and delivered your first high-satisfaction core system configuration. * Day 180: You are a performance multiplier, smoothly juggling a concurrent portfolio of 10–15 mid-market projects, accelerating project delivery timelines, and directly boosting regional Net Retention targets. * Year 1: You have fundamentally leveled up our portfolio configuration frameworks, successfully embedded AI-driven tracking efficiencies into your weekly workflow, and become a culture carrier who routinely secures high-quality customer advocacy milestones and G2 reviews. You will partner closely with our Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to champion customer needs and position our clients for long-term growth. WHAT YOU’LL DO (WEEKLY FOCUS) To reach your milestones, you will spend your time: * Project & Implementation Management: Fully lead the onboarding project lifecycle for assigned accounts, ensuring a seamless, timely, and complete configuration of the Bynder suite. * Consulting & Taxonomy Strategy: Advise customers on asset bank taxonomy, metadata structures, governance, and custom workflows tailored to their unique business use cases. * AI-Driven Productivity: Actively leverage modern AI tools to accelerate daily workflows, automate routine reporting, and analyze customer meeting insights (such as sentiment analysis and transcript summaries) to continuously optimize project delivery. * Business & Revenue Contribution: Drive positive time-to-value to directly impact regional Net Retention targets. Proactively identify expansion opportunities during onboarding and pass them to Sales to help meet team ARR growth goals. * Advocacy & Sourcing: Serve as the customer’s voice to the Product Team regarding enhancement requests. Celebrate successful deployments by driving customer advocacy and sourcing high-quality G2 customer reviews. * Data & Portfolio Tracking: Maintain meticulous project hygiene by accurately tracking time allocation, budget burn rates, and project risks across your portfolio within internal systems like Kantata (Mavenlink), Jira, Catalyst, and Salesforce. YOUR PROFILE We look for the following competencies to thrive in this role: * Expertise: Relevant experience in project management, SaaS technical implementation, implementation consultancy, or digital asset management—ideally within digital industries. You bring a proven track record managing standard SaaS implementations, with experience handling a concurrent portfolio of 10–15 mid-market projects at the same time. You possess a strong affinity for technology, including a massive plus for experience with APIs, integrations, or video editing software, and are comfortable getting used to—and experimenting with—AI platforms to drive personal and operational efficiency. * Language & Travel: Fluency in English and proficiency in German or French is a major advantage; willingness to travel as needed, including working from our Amsterdam office at least two times a week, is required. * Complexity: Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to distinguish accurately between minor setup issues and major blockers. Smartly.io is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Customer Onboarding Manager to join our dynamic Onboarding team. As a Customer Onboarding Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting our newly-signed customers with the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and successful transition to the Smartly platform. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to deliver optimal onboarding plans and solutions tailored to our key customers. Responsibilities: * Be a subject matter expert on Smartly.io's products and services, understanding the platform's capabilities and effectively communicating and implementing solutions for potential and new customer needs. * Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored solutions within the Smartly platform, enabling our Tier 1-3 key customers to achieve their business objectives. * Take ownership of the technical execution of the onboarding plan, ensuring that customer accounts are set up for a successful and ongoing partnership with Smartly.io.
