Position Purpose:    The IT Applications Specialist (PMIS) is responsible for the day-to-day management, support, and continuous improvement of assigned applications, focusing on Project Management Information System (PMIS). The role ensures systems are operating effectively, resolves technical and business issues, and supports the delivery of enhancements and upgrades. Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams, the position contributes to application reliability, user experience, and ongoing optimization of technology solutions.    What You Will Do:    * Manage application operations, including issue resolution, system maintenance, performance monitoring, and vendor coordination.  * Implement application enhancements, upgrades, patches, and fixes to maintain system reliability, security, and data integrity.  * Investigate and resolve incidents and escalations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.  * Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, support solution design, and implement application improvements.  * Support solution delivery by participating in testing, change management, deployment, and post-implementation activities.  * Coordinate with vendors and service providers to implement changes, troubleshoot issues, and maintain agreed service levels.  * Maintain system documentation, support procedures, and controls to enable effective application lifecycle management.  * Provide user support, training, and guidance while promoting adoption of system functionality and best practices.    Who You Are:    * University degree or college diploma in Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline an asset.  * Several years of experience in application support or systems analysis.  * Experience supporting Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).   Experience with Kahua PMIS would be an asset  * Understanding of large-scale infrastructure projects, including exposure to Engineering, Procurement and Construction business processes (i.e. RFI’s, Submittals, Change Orders and Scheduling)  * Knowledge of application lifecycle management and issue resolution practices.  * Experience working with vendors and service delivery models.  * Familiarity with enterprise systems and platforms.  * Experience supporting enterprise applications in a complex business environment.  * Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.  * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.  * Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies is an asset.  * Strong analytical and communication skills.      What We Offer:     * Commitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture that promotes a sense of belonging and represents and reflects the needs of the communities we serve.   * A Defined Contribution Pension Plan, with Infrastructure Ontario contributing the equivalent of 5% of a full-time employee’s annual salary and will also match any employee contribution up to an additional 5% of their annual salary. STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER (EAA) The Customer Administration Engineering (CAE) team within Coinbase's Enterprise Applications and Architecture org builds and operates Control Center, the secure platform powering customer data operations for approximately 7,000 internal users across CX, Compliance, Legal, Global Investigations, and Trust and Risk. As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be the technical anchor driving Control Center's evolution from a human-specialist UI into a modular, AI-agent-ready operations platform exposing capabilities via MCP for both human and autonomous consumers. You'll lead architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver high-impact platform capabilities at an exciting inflection point for the product. What you'll do: * Own the architecture and delivery of foundational platform capabilities including MCP tool registries, AI orchestration layers, risk-based access automation, and the away-team contribution model that enables product groups to build on Control Center safely and at speed. * Drive Control Center's evolution into an AI-agent-ready, headless operations platform by designing MCP procedure constructs, agentic guardrails, HITL orchestration, and evaluation frameworks for secure autonomous operations. * Lead technical direction across the team in partnership with the Engineering Manager and Product, authoring TDDs, running design reviews, decomposing complex initiatives into deliverable milestones, and mentoring engineers through code review. * Build highly reliable, secure distributed backend services, owning SLO definitions, observability instrumentation, incident response, and operational readiness for Tier-1 systems serving thousands of internal users and AI agents. * Partner across EAA, Product Engineering, and Security Engineering teams to deliver cross-functional outcomes and drive shared platform primitives that eliminate duplicated infrastructure.
