Professor of Sustainability, ESG and Compliance – AI Business School

AI Business School is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Professor of Sustainability, ESG and Compliance to join our

growing faculty.

At AI Business School, we combine business strategy, technology, and sustainability to equip professionals with the tools needed

to lead the transition toward a responsible and data-driven future. As part of our academic team, you’ll play a crucial role in

shaping the next generation of leaders who understand both the strategic and regulatory dimensions of sustainability.

As Professor of Sustainability, ESG and Compliance, you will develop and deliver courses that explore sustainability reporting,

ESG frameworks, regulatory compliance, and corporate responsibility — bridging the gap between environmental ambition, legal

obligations, and business growth.

You will design and teach courses within ESG strategy, sustainability compliance, and corporate reporting in alignment with

European and global frameworks such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and GRI. You’ll mentor participants and support them in translating

complex sustainability standards into actionable business practices. You’ll contribute to thought leadership in the fields of

sustainable business and corporate governance, engaging in discussions, seminars, and collaborations that strengthen AI Business

School’s role as a thought leader. You’ll also connect with industry and regulatory partners to ensure our programs remain

relevant, practical, and forward-looking.

We’re looking for an academic or practitioner with a strong foundation in sustainability, ESG, law, or corporate governance. You

likely hold a PhD or equivalent expertise in Sustainability, Environmental Policy, Law, or Business Administration. You have

teaching or training experience and are comfortable discussing frameworks such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, GRI, or TCFD. A deep

understanding of the intersection between regulation, strategy, and sustainability performance is essential. Excellent

communication skills in English and an international outlook are required.
