ABOUT THE ROLE: We are growing our Data Language Team within the Gropyus Tech department. The Language team is responsible for the semantic layer of our Gropyus Data Fabric as well as data modeling and transformation for our self-service analytics.  Our team interacts with experts from various domains such as Digital Building Planning and Automation, Product Operations, Sustainability, AI, IoT, construction engineers, building architects, logistics experts, software engineering; solving complex challenges pertaining to end-to-end process for planning, building, and operating a building.   AS PART OF THE DATA LANGUAGE ORGANIZATION, YOU WILL:  * Design data models to formalize concepts from various architecture and construction domains.   * Contribute to the logic to transform and enrich our centralized data for self-service analytics  * Support Data Science use cases including Machine Learning and AI  * Collaborate with domain experts and software engineers to understand data needs and deliver high-quality datasets.  * Implement and uphold data quality, governance, and security standards, including monitoring, testing, and documentation.  * Adhere to best practices and rigor in development including documentation, data governance, testing, and validation  ABOUT YOU: * Experience working with a tech stack similar to:  * Programming languages like Python or Kotlin  * Query Languages like: SPARQL, SQL  * Data Reporting like: PowerBI, Tableau, Quick Sight  * Databases like Postgres, BigQuery, Spark, Graph DB  * Cloud Storage Platforms   * Ability to complete work as directed with guidance from senior engineers or leadership  * Experience resolving issues related to data discrepancies and inconsistencies and creating validation and testing for prevention and handling  * You have data modeling experience through semantic or Business Intelligence development   * You have experience following best practice guidelines in data and software engineering  Optional Experience:  * Some knowledge about semantic layer or ontologies  * Experience with graph technologies and triples  * * Data Science, Machine Learning and AI agents   WHAT WE OFFER: * Be part of something big: You’re here to make a change? ABOUT THE ROLE: As Gropyus moves into the next phase of scaling up, we anticipate our Data growing rapidly. As such, we’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Data Governance professional to join the Data and AI vertical. This role reports directly to the Head of Data and AI and will act as a high-level individual contributor as well as a strategic thought partner for not only the Data Leadership team (consisting of Head, Managers, and Product partners) but partners across Gropyus. A successful candidate in this role will help us apply our Semantic Ontologies to our centralized Data Fabric as well as consult and advise tech domain expert teams on improving resilient, secure and well-documented data in accordance with compliance standards and in partnership with our Governance, Risk & Compliance team. They will lead initiatives such as expanding our current Data Management offerings for the Data Fabric, integrating securely and effectively with AI agents and services, and implementing stronger processes for data provenance within the Tech department.   WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: * Define, develop, implement and maintain the data governance framework, policies, standards, and procedures.   * Contribute to the strategy of the Data Team including proposing and leading governance initiatives for both team roadmaps and potentially the larger company operational milestone.   * Pairing with our process specialists, drive to best practices in data management including Data contracts, SOPs, retention, and access control.  * Lead and report on data quality initiatives: metrics, monitoring, remediation, profiling, and continuous improvement.  * Drive improvements to our Data Catalog and metadata management within Tech.    * Identify and help manage data-related risks; collaborate on audits and compliance reviews.   * Contribute to our Data Literacy efforts and expand training opportunities for our internal stakeholders.  * Work closely with our Governance, Risk & Compliance, Information Security, and Corporate IT teams to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.  WHAT YOU BRING: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Management, Information Assurance, Computer Science, IT or related fields.   * Significant, specialized experience (5+ years) in data governance, data quality, data management.  * Experience with data governance frameworks & best practices (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, data stewardship models)   * Strong knowledge of data quality dimensions and tools; ability to define, measure, monitor, remediate data quality.  * Good understanding of data architecture, data modeling, metadata management, data lineage.   * Strong communication, stakeholder management skills; ability to influence, negotiate, collaborate cross-teams.   * Proficient in working with regulatory and legal data/privacy requirements (e.g. GDPR. EU AI Act)   Desirable Skills: * Hands-on experience with one or more data governance opensource tools or platforms * Past projects or familiarity with Ontologies, OWL and Semantic languages * Familiarity with Data Architecture Concepts * Familiarity or Experience with Graph Databases * Experience with highly complex, dynamic domains (Construction, Consulting, or Health Care)  WHAT WE OFFER * Be part of something big: You’re here to make a change? ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a technical and proactive CAD expert to join our Corporate IT team as a Technical Application Manager. In this role, you will take ownership of our CAD application portfolio and ensure seamless integration and optimization across the GROPYUS group.  What you will be doing:  * Manage CAD Application Portfolio: Evaluate, implement, integrate, and optimize third-party CAD applications to support our engineering and construction workflows.  * Design & Governance: Define and manage the software portfolio to maximize value creation across the entire value chain.  * Technical Ownership: Act as the technical owner of CAD applications, ensuring best-in-class user experience, usability, and performance.  * Policies & Standards: Create, review, and enforce application-specific concepts, policies, and compliance standards.  * Process Design: Develop and implement processes and procedures for operating and managing third-party applications.  * Integration & Automation: Ideally, design and develop interfaces using low- or no-code solutions to streamline workflows.  * Cloud Collaboration: Administer and optimize Autodesk BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) environments, including user management, permissions, and data workflows.    What you bring:  * You currently support or manage CAD applications in a technical capacity or work deeply with them in your organization.  * You have a strong technical understanding of IT architecture, integrations, and interfaces for new applications.  * You can capture functional and technical requirements from multiple stakeholders and translate them into effective solutions.  * You demonstrate project management skills, including creating project plans and managing external service providers to deliver solutions on time and within IT standards.  * You take ownership and proactively seek to improve systems and processes for the benefit of all users.  * You are detail-oriented and capable of defining SLAs with service providers and internal guidelines for application usage.  * You communicate effectively in English; German proficiency is a plus.   Desirable skills:  * Hands-on experience with Autodesk BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) administration.  * Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and related integrations.  * Knowledge of IT architecture, APIs, and interface development (low-code/no-code experience is a plus).  * Understanding of cloud services, networking, and security protocols. * Experience with workflow automation and process optimization.  * Basic scripting or programming skills for integration tasks (e.g., Python, PowerShell).  WHAT WE OFFER * An unlimited contract with 30 vacation days.   * Flexible, hybrid work: You can work from home or come into the office on the schedule that works best for you.
